We are thrilled with the deck work that Juan did for us! He built a custom gate for the top of our deck stairs that beautifully integrates with the existing railing. He also was able to identify and correct a sagging porch corner and secure loose deck planks. He is conscientious, meticulous, thoughtful, and takes great pride in his work.
Juan was always very prompt with responding to messages - either through the Thumbtack app or by email. His bid was neatly itemized and very competitive.
In summary, this was one of the best experiences we've had with a contractor. Ever. We would definitely recommend Skagit Home Repairs.

Juan was very professional and communicative throughout the whole process of scheduling and completing the job. When unforeseen circumstances changed the nature of the job, he was quick to let me know about the changes and worked with me to complete the job in spite of weather and traffic complications. 10/10. I would recommend using Skagit Home Repairs again.

We can't say enough good things about the repairs that Juan of Skagit Home Repairs did for us. He was timely and the quality of his work was excellent. He repaired wood framing outside, and damaged drywall inside, then painted the areas to perfection!He also replaced some smoke alarms, hung some new light fixtures, and replaced light switches. .He has an excellent eye for detail and is very knowledgeable about various ways to fix problem areas. He was a pleasure to have him work on our 24 year old home that we love. He did a better job than we ever thought could be done!!!!! Thank you Juan

Over the past few months I have contracted with Skagit Home Repair for 4 jobs in my home. The largest and most recent was an update to my kitchen. This included a new countertop, sink, faucet and disposal. Juan told me 2 & days. Juan was consistently punctual, diligent, thorough and clean. He did a beautiful job and completed it within the promised time. After 4 jobs I can also say he is honest. Someone you would not mind having in your home. If you need some work done, I highly recommend Skagit Home Repair.
