We are thrilled with the deck work that Juan did for us! He built a custom gate for the top of our deck stairs that beautifully integrates with the existing railing. He also was able to identify and correct a sagging porch corner and secure loose deck planks. He is conscientious, meticulous, thoughtful, and takes great pride in his work.
Juan was always very prompt with responding to messages - either through the Thumbtack app or by email. His bid was neatly itemized and very competitive.
In summary, this was one of the best experiences we've had with a contractor. Ever. We would definitely recommend Skagit Home Repairs.

After researching other home improvement contractors in the area, I booked a quote with Juan and was not disappointed. As someone who works in community development, my standards are high and they were exceeded with Skagit Home Repairs. Communicative, professional, respectful, and timely from the start, Juan went above and beyond. He made sure the construction and repairs of my home (of which were many, due to a very anxious dog and some worn/rotted wood on exterior landings) met my expectations as well as safety/construction standards. I could not have been more pleased with the work and the improvements he made along the way. On top of the quality construction, Juans customer service was exactly what you would want from someone working on your home. He respected the space, my time, and project considerations around cost/potential issues/etc. If I could give more stars, I would and I will absolutely be contacting him in the future for home improvement needs.

We can't say enough good things about the repairs that Juan of Skagit Home Repairs did for us. He was timely and the quality of his work was excellent. He repaired wood framing outside, and damaged drywall inside, then painted the areas to perfection!He also replaced some smoke alarms, hung some new light fixtures, and replaced light switches. .He has an excellent eye for detail and is very knowledgeable about various ways to fix problem areas. He was a pleasure to have him work on our 24 year old home that we love. He did a better job than we ever thought could be done!!!!! Thank you Juan

We wanted to test Skagit Home Repairs LLC with a small junk hauling job. Juan was great. He is professional, keeps his commitments and on time.Price was appropriate. He is doing a bid on some house trim replacement. We hope that works out as well as our job today.

Juan was very professional and communicative throughout the whole process of scheduling and completing the job. When unforeseen circumstances changed the nature of the job, he was quick to let me know about the changes and worked with me to complete the job in spite of weather and traffic complications. 10/10. I would recommend using Skagit Home Repairs again.
