About
Connor Appraisals was incorporated in the state of Washington in June 1992. Our services are offered to homeowners, buyers, CPA's and attorneys. I have done thousands of residential valuations over the last 20+ years, including simple to complex residential and new construction, 2 to 4 family income properties, condominiums, vacant land and manufactured homes in primarily the Thurston County area, but have extensive experience in Pierce, King, Mason and western Lewis county. I also an do relocation appraisals, estate valuations for attorneys and homeowners and am approved with FHA, USDA and HUD. I am also experienced in the valuations of high-end homes with values over $1 million. Discount fees are typically given for a cash transaction and/or private party valuation. PS : If you're looking for an appraisal so you can get financing - you're going to have to let the bank choose the appraiser.

Ed was swamped, yet he managed to fit in my appraisal. He stayed in touch. The appraisal was thorough and in line with my expectations.

Ed Connor responded quickly to our request for an appraisal of my mother-in-law's home, and adjusted his price to suit the property appraisal. He did a very thorough appraisal and included comparisons with other similar properties, adjusted to today's market values. We were very pleased with his performance of the appraisal. We especially appreciated his advice regarding items needing repairs prior to a potential sale.

Ed replied very quickly to my first email, we agreed on a date and time for the appraisal. I was a few minutes late, but he was right on time. Did a great job, I'm happy with the results. Very quick results, too, just under 2 weeks from visit to report. I have added him to my "numbers", I'm very happy with the results.

Ed provided a comprehensive appraisal of the property in a timely fashion. Even with me being out of state, he worked promptly through email to get everything squared away and settled in a very timely manner.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Continuing real estate valuation education is a mandatory requirement for license renewal and I have over 25 years of continuing education experience in all phases of real estate appraisal including, law, finance, unusual properties, high end homes and also the new high energy efficient homes.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

The most common types of contract appraisal assignments are for estate settlement, FSBO purchases or sale or just curious home owners.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

If your valuation needs are of a legal nature, such as a valuation needed for taxes, estate settlements, divorce or other related legal disputes - then you need to hire a state certified appraiser that can defend their valuation along side of you in court. Do not look for an appraiser here if you're seeking to get financing. The lender has to choose the appraiser for you.
