Introduction
I focus on training students to practice effectively so they make progress outside of their lessons. I love music and teaching, so this is the perfect fit for me. I get a lot of joy out of teaching and seeing people becoming the kind of player they want to be.

Nicholas Anderson is by far one of the best guitar teachers out there. Nicholas always puts his students first. Unlike many guitar teachers out there, he is always striving to do what's best for his students. Whether it be private lessons or group lessons, he has the right format for you In response to Chuck S.'s review below, it seems like he just has a chip on his shoulder. I have had nothing but an amazing experience with Nicholas and he is always honest and upfront about his policies. He handle his business in a professional manner. Nicholas will help you become a better guitar player if you are open to what he has to teach you. The group formats are WAY better than the private lesson formats. It's great to be able to play with other musicians and see that you are not the only one having trouble doing something. A+ guitar instructor for those that are committed to learning their instruments.

I took lessons from Nick for 3 years and he taught me from the ground up on the guitar and bass. Along with being an incredible musician, Nick is great at teaching different techniques and playing styles as well as thoroughly explaining music theory in a understandable way. I still use the theory he taught me daily in my role as a musician and an audio engineer.

Nicholas is one of the most knowledgeable musicians I know. Not only he is a good guitar (and bass) player, but he has experience in writing for full orchestra - which is impressive on its own. How many guitar teachers can do that? I like that variety of formats he offers, and I personally prefer the group lessons since they are more lively and there is much more information "exchanged" between teacher and students. It's also fun to see how other people are reacting to the same information - you learn a lot form your classmates too! Last, but not least, Nicholas is one of the most upstanding and honest persons I know. 5 stars, heartily recommended.

Nick is a great teacher and an honest and solid guy. I would definitely recommend him for guitar lessons. He is dedicated to his students progress in music and shows commitment rarely found in a guitar teacher.
