Michael is a great teacher! I'm currently taking piano lessons from him and I am very satisfied. His approach is different from other teachers I had looked into and he's more affordable and flexible with scheduling your lessons! His approach with teaching music theory was a surprise to me but it has proven to be a very successful way to start teaching a begginer the piano. No need to buy several lessons in advance and he works at your pace! Highly recommended this teacher.
JD Dorland Music has been a fantastic experience. I chose to start Piano Lessons in the middle of December which is already a very busy month and JD was very accommodating with dates and times. I am an adult with no experience in playing the Piano or reading music and my first lesson was a great experience. He is incredibly friendly and the environment was laid back and welcoming. JD provided me with the tools necessary to succeed outside of my lesson with a combination of book and online work. I truly felt like he set me up to be successful. You will not be disappointed by JD Dorland Music.
I am an adult beginner piano player interested in playing the piano and learning music theory and history. Mr. Adams has tailored my lessons to my individual desires. He is flexible about the time schedule and an engaging conversationalist.
Outstanding guitar instructor! Jacob is very patient and easy to get along with. He's a fantastic musician and sincerely works to make sure that I stay interested and continue to get better. I would highly recommend him as a guitar, bass or drum teacher to anyone looking for music lessons!
Theresa is absolutely an amazing violin instructor! After taking violin lessons from many skilled instructors, I found Theresa very effective and engaging. She is great at teaching to both adults and children, and I'm so grateful to be one of her students:))
We just started our daughter's lessons but Cayce is a well organized and professional who loves her craft. She has been very helpful in answering our questions and determining our short and long-term goals. Her website is very well done and a great aid in tracking our daughter's progress, lessons, and for communication.
I have only had 2 lessons with Tim so far but I left both with good pointers and pertinent home practice to improve. I am more enthused about the lessons now than I was in the beginning. I am also encouraging my grandson to get piano lessons with him.
Shireen has extensive knowledge in music theory. She's also very flexible and understanding of my daughter's busy school schedule and accommodates as much as she can. We're very lucky to have found her.
Good teacher for adult students. Curt is an active musician. Has formal training in music theory. Can go as deep into theory as you desire. Helps put guitar concepts into greater 'musical' concepts which help improve useful practice vs memorizing.
I’ve been taking lessons with Benjamin now for a year and have made strides I hadn’t previously thought possible. I highly recommend Ben to those who are serious about learning how to play the guitar well.
RL is a phenomenal instructor. Besides his ability to shred, he is a master in music theory and can convey his knowledge in a very understandable way. He is well versed in all the genres, from jazz to rock and everything in between. He has had a huge impact on my playing. My lessons with RL are the most rewarding part of my week. Go Seahawks!
Shawn is a wonderful and patient piano teacher. My daughter had lessons as a younger child and needed a change as she moved beyond the beginner stage. She's been with Shawn for about 8 months and her playing has improved significantly. She enjoys practicing again and is motivated by his instruction. He's offering her just the right amount of challenge, creativity and encouragement. And this is a 12 year old I'm talking about (hello parents of tweeners and teenagers)! We also appreciate his highly organized website and timely communication. All around Shawn is a fantastic, solid professional who is passionate about music, seriously grounded in theory and very consistent in his instruction with youth. If you're considering music lessons with him, you will be lucky to get on his schedule.
I am pleasantly surprised that I found such a good teacher, Ken Jacobsen, who even lives close to me. I have complete confidence in his ability to take my classical guitar training to the next level.
Andrew is an excellent instructor. He is really knowledgeable in music theory. I took lessons for only a short time but was able to learn so much, because he used my knowledge of piano to help me understand guitar concepts and he focused on the techniques and songs that I was most interested in.
I took my 11 yo daughter to Tarik for guitar lessons, and I would highly recommend him as a guitar instructor. He was able to meet her at her level, challenge her and inspire her in equal measure. His depth and breadth of knowledge with theory and technique is very impressive, and is matched by his natural ability as a teacher. My daughter now has the ability to look up nearly any song and be playing it within minutes, because she has an excellent foundational understanding.
I've taken guitar lessons from Tarik Bentlemsani for about 2 years. I had only a little previous music experience. Tarik is a highly accomplished musician; he has provided an excellent and comprehensive program for my development with encouragement, patience, and challenging pieces.
Michael is very good at tailoring lessons to my specific needs. Each lesson is comfortable, professional, fun, and exciting. I am very excited about learning and growing each time I work with Michael. He's amazing.
He's real cool and knows how to teach
Betty is willing to teach all kinds of music, not just classical. She also is very willing to bend when it comes to the time and the length of the lesson.
Amazing performance....brought tears to my eyes during the ceremony.
