Eastside Family Counseling
About this pro
I have over 20 years' experience creating safe space in which my clients can explore and pursue new possibilities. My collaborative coaching style invites clients to be experts in their own experience, which improves their ability to choose the right solutions. I love watching my clients have their "ah ha!" moment, when something that has been painful or challenging in their lives becomes either more manageable, or less pressing.

- How did you get started doing this type of work?I decided to become a counselor as a result of working with an amazing counselor when I was in my early teens. I found someone who listened to my experiences with compassion and who was an advocate for me to find my own solutions. I knew at that point I wanted to be for others what she had been for me.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?If you decide to hire a counselor, the most important thing to look for is someone you feel you can trust. If you come away from the first meeting with any doubts, KEEP LOOKING. Unless you feel comfortable with your provider, the work will not be successful.
