Sam was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish! He responded very quickly after I sent out my bid, and was very responsive via email, text or phone. He came out to see the property shortly after we first talked on the phone, gave me a very reasonable estimate, and followed through on the project in expedient fashion. He was communicative throughout the process, and always did everything he promised to do -- even though it meant coming back one extra time to lay some extra sod because there was some miscommunication between him and I about how much grass we wanted him to lay right behind the area in our front yard that we had him pave (it used to be all dirt and grass). The project was completed to my satisfaction, our new paved parking spot and grassy area look great, and it all got done within two weeks of the date I posted the request for proposals on Thumbtack. I would highly recommend Sam to anyone looking for a landscaper in the greater Seattle area.

Let me start by saying, I bit off more than I could chew when I started my landscaping project. After getting through a quarter of it, I knew I needed help as it proved to be much more back breaking than I had anticipated. Nick and Rubin from A1 Quick Landscaping contacted me first, so we arranged a date and time for a bid. They came over to my home on a Saturday morning and gave me a quote to shape the lawn the way I wanted it, till the existing sod, remove the sod, amend the existing soil with 6 cubic yards of compost, and shape my new surrounding berms. The price was very fair considering the 6 cubic yards of compost they would need to bring to the site. I hired them and Wednesday was the day we agreed upon. They were both there at the time they said they would be and started right away. They assured me I had nothing to worry about and they had it under control, which they most certainly did. I was surprised how quickly Nick and Rubin got the project finished. They're a two man show and it only took them about 3 1/2 hours to finish what I started 3 weeks ago! They were friendly, professional, offered their opinion when I was on the fence about something, and they have a good sense of humor. I really am very pleased with the work they did. I can now start putting my new plants in thanks to these two!!! I recommend them highly and I would not hesitate hiring them for another future project. Many thanks Nick and Rubin.

We were selling our home and Polo helped us get the maximum value out of our updates. I think his work easily paid for itself. He cleaned up a large portion of the yard, put in a rockery, added sod, and cleaned up and mulched beds.

Frank and his crew did a great job. We hired them for a combined project for a new sod (about 3000 sqft), a new patio, and a new sprinkler system. They came everyday at 7am and worked very professional. They also gave me opinions on my landscape. I later hired them to plant 12 green trees on my backyard and did some landscape work. The new front/back/side yard looks great after now. Their offer is not the lowest and not the highest I have been offered. But their work quality is super. I am really happy to work with them. They are very easy to communicate and trust worth. Wish their best for their business.

I would highly recommend Heather to complete any yard clean up and sod installation job you might have. She totally removed all weeds, tough dandelions and pepper shot from my yard, moved river rock from the front of the house to the back yard, hauled in and spread several yards of compost and mulch, and removed old sod manually and installed new sod. The yard looks terrific. She did this all by herself and completed the job and n schedule. Her prices are VERY reasonable considering how much work she did for me. I will be calling Heather again for other projects.

Don and his crew redid our whole front and backyard, and in less time than they even estimated. Cleared old weedy, dead grass and laid new sod; weeded overrun planting areas; removed overgrown shrubbery and replaced with neat and tidy new ones; weeded graveled areas and laid down new gravel. Pricing was completely fair and the results are well worth the investment. One of the best elements of working with Don is that he answers questions, responds promptly, and is just an overall good guy to work with (his crew is polite and courteous too) - not high-pressure, wants to be sure you're comfortable with the plan and pricing. I've already passed along his info to my parents for work they were thinking of having done and will continue to work with Don for future needs. Neighbors have not only noticed their great work, but complimented it too.

Perfect Paradise Gardening did a wonderful job with our small project. Jose came out right away to give a reasonable quote. He was easy to communicate with and on time for the project. Jose and his team removed lava rock from our curbside and laid sod. They also dig and planted a lovely garden between our fence and sidewalk. I would highly recommend Perfect Paradise Gardening for outdoor projects at your home!

I found Sergio through Thumbtack after struggling to find any handyman services that weren't booked out weeks/months in advance and actually responded to me. I emailed Sergio from the website to initiate the process and from our initial email we began communicating via text message. Sergio came out on a Monday to provide a quote for significant yard work. The yard work included removing tons of overgrown and invasive plants on my grandmother-in-law's Kingston property (think blackberries et al) and removal of some random junk on the property, as well as cutting down of bamboo (grandma's property has a creek running through it and there's more bamboo than the fertile lands of Asia). Sergio reviewed everything we wanted done and quoted it would take about 40 hours with 3 guys to process the work and removal of everything we wanted done. The rate is $25 per hr per worker so the estimate worked out to about 3k. Of course, I'm always expecting unexpected things to come up and I have zero experience hiring someone to do significant yard work like this. Sergio and I agreed to the work via text after receiving the quote. The next Monday morning he and one of his guys showed up promptly at 8am and began hacking away at junipers and blackberry plants on the property with machetes (what. haha.) I live in Seattle so I wasn't easily able to come out and constantly check on their progress. Sergio had one guy with him on Monday and Tuesday-Thursday he had two guys with him. Initially, we planned on them finishing on Friday but something came up and they promptly came (four guys, actually) on Saturday and finished everything off. The actual cost for (approximately) 40 hours with 3 guys was about $3,300 with about $750 in dump run fees (yeah bringing all those trimmings and leaves sure get expensive at the Kitsap dump, I've done it on my own in the past). And then sales tax for his services a couple hundred. Overall, it was about 4k, which was 1k over budget but seeing as $750 was dump run costs and like $350 was sales tax, it totally met my expectations. Sergio and his crew are polite, fast, friendly, and hard working. I'm pleased that we selected Sergio for our yard work. They did a significant amount of yard waste hacking and removal. My grandmother-in-law is very attached to some of the plants so they were very careful about preserving and protecting specific plants (whichever plants so wanted stayed, and the overgrown invasive plants growing on top of them were removed) and Sergio and his crew were clearly professionals at handling these Pacific Northwestern flora. If you're looking for someone who will work hard for you and be very fair, I would recommend emailing, calling, or texting Sergio to bring him out for a quote. Other projects we are about to have done that Sergio may be involved with and stated he and his crew can do, and will quote separately: -power washing and painting her house -grading, levelling, and filling her drive way with rock -aerating and seeding grass and laying sod -placing pavers to create unprecedented walkways -removal of old fences and installation of new fences So in addition to yard and junk waste removal, as well as professionally manicuring her plants, shrubs, and trees, Sergio and his team can do pretty much anything. Contact him for a quote. I highly recommend. :)

Quyen and his crew put in a new patio which required excavation, retaining and brick wall design with pavers for the patio. It is so beautiful! They came when they said they would, left everything perfect with no mess to clean up and finished on time! I would highly recommend them for any landscaping job! Quyen and his crew were so thoughtful and respectful.

Donald responded immediately to my request. We meet on Saturday and I was so impressed with him we scheduled our sod installation for Monday bypassing other quotes. He and his crew arrived on time and quickly got to work. They were very pleasant, informative, respectful and just a great, fun team. Tremendously hard workers. Sang and laughed while working which I loved. We have more work to do and I will definitely be calling Donald and his crew. Lawn looks great!!

I expect Richard to get 5 stars when I next hire him ... he is conscientious, the place looks great .. it just took him a looong time to do the job. But I'm hiring him again for a couple jobs and I know he'll speed up.

Previous owners of my house moved a bunch of dirt to one side to make room for an above ground pool (which is gone). So one side of the yard will need to be leveled. It is a very small back yard. Possible concrete involved (may want to concrete yard on one side of the house, not sure yet). Possible fire pit. I need ideas & someone who can create it after we determine what to do. *Thank you*
