FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are known to throw in extra things for free or offer discounts. I strive to have competitive pricing in the industry, while maintaining a high standard of quality. I can’t say I consider myself the least expensive, or the most expensive. Most often, you get what you pay for.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet and go over a projects goals, expectations, and priorities. I like to custom tailor projects to suit my clients needs, and I am very flexible. When we reach a clear understanding of scope and details with a project I propose a plan and financial aspects with a timeline. Upon reaching an agreement, I will provide a contract we can sign, and most often require a deposit check of 1/2 of the project amount to cover materials and equipment costs. Terms are sometimes negotiable. Near the end of a project another 25% could be required to complete a project depending on the type and size of it. Upon completion, we walk through and make sure the client is happy with the final product, and the final payment is due, and full invoice is provided.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended college in horticulture. My dad told me when I was starting out, that I was so far ahead of someone coming out of college with my extensive background in landscape construction and horticulture since I was 15 years old. Going out on my own at 28 proved to be the best education I ever got. It’s been fun.
