- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We take classes and seminars throughout the year to stay abreast of the changes in accounting. Further to keep the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation, we are required to report the classes taken to the State Board of Accountancy. Classes accepted by the State Board of Accountancy must follow strict guidelines in ordered for them to be considered acceptable as satisfying the CPA designation continuing education requirements.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When hiring a CPA, it is important to hire a person who shows integrity, honesty, and loyalty. You want a person that has experience and can provide answers to your questions. Look at the individuals personality and determine if you will be able to build a working relationship. Finances are private and should only be shared with a person you have confidence in.
