- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been surrounded by musicians but have never really been a musician myself. I was greatly influenced by my parents with a appreciation for world music and my friend influenced me with current local music they were creating. While traveling though Europe, I would listen to collections of music and wonder why the radio and the venues back home rarely played tracks that I enjoyed. It was at that moment I realized if i wanted to hear they type of music I liked, I would have play it. The birth of dj.kuhnex. The combination of my influences has allowed me to succeed in any venue and attract a diverse range of fans and clients. Becoming a DJ transformed my character into a person who would make things happen. It seemed events were not the same if I wasn't behind the turntables. I opened up the speakers for numerous musicians to feel free to hop on the mic and develop their craft... The birth of GoatHouse Production. Greatest Of All Time, is what we strive for yet the name came from a much more humble beginning. Several of us who began GoatHouse were immigrants from the third world. Trinidad, Gambia, Tanzania, Honduras, South Africa, and so on. Many of us raised goats and came from a very down to earth life style. This company is dedicated to giving back to our people in some form. GoatHouse Production has grown so much larger than ever expected, and continues to grow in several countries around the world.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We do anything from private parties to public concerts and everything in-between.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Hire someone who loves what they do, not someone who just does this because they have the equipment and are in the business.
