Really enjoy working with Ben. My wife and I have physical limitations that he is able to work around and has made us stronger with greater cardio endurance. I love being stronger than my average day and am more productive. Have been working with Ben for about 6 months at this point. He makes exercise fun, and motivates us to do more than we would, if left to our own devices. We would recommend Ben highly.
My kids signed me up for 12 sessions at SuperFit 5 years ago. Starting a new habit, particularly a strenuous cardio-fitness regimen, was tough. I found that regular sessions produced positive results and repetition made workouts better if not easier. The things that keep me going back to SuperFit are: Sticking with it: SuperFit has become a regular appointment on my calendar. Their well planned exercise routines with individual instruction and coaching from the trainers keeps me motivated. And encouragement shared among classmates is very supportive. The rewarding feeling of accomplishment: I have noticeably better strength for my daily activities and much improved stamina. I feel better and look back at the result of 5 years of training with great satisfaction and forward to many more.
My boyfriend and I have been working out with William for a couple months, and he has been fantastic! He's been very flexible, easy to communicate with, and has tailored the program to our unique needs. The workouts are always hard but achievable, and William has been great at mixing them up so we never get bored. My boyfriend and I have both made a ton of progress already - in terms of weightloss, building strength, and cardio health. The best part is that he comes to our house and brings everything with him. Most weeks he leaves equipment behind as well so we have access to it between sessions - everything from TRX straps to kickboxing gear. I've struggled with keeping up a good routine in the past because I hate going to the gym, so it's been super helpful having him come to me. We originally signed up for 3 months and have already committed to extend. I highly recommend William as a personal trainer / coach...truly can't say enough good things about him.
Spending time in gym with the equipment didn't really help me earlier so I thought of trying something which motivates and doesn't have the usual routine. P90X is overall package with exercises and nutrition. You get to do cardio, strengthening, boxing, yoga etc... (good mix of everything :)) and not get bored. I'm not that coordinated and had a little trouble with getting some of the exercises, Drahoslav helped me get up to speed. He modified to personalize the exercise routine to my comfort which in turn helped alleviate my wrist and lower back pain. I was suffering from lower back pain over a few years, after I started P90X under Drahoslav's guidance I feel flexible and have perceptible changes in posture and feel much more confident. This routine has sinked into getting a much desired good night's sleep. Finally to complement Drahoslav helped me guide through my diet plan. Thanks Drahoslav I am a much more confident person now. I'm just about 20+ session and more reviews to come.
Michael is an amazing trainer. He worked with me and with my 12 year old son. He designs workouts to meet fitness goals for everyone. More me, adding muscle and improving my cardio were important. For my son, strength training and endurance were priorities. Micheal customized workouts and workout schedules that fit and ensured results.
I would consider myself a pretty serious fitness nut and have worked out with trainers for over 15 years. I can say, by far, this is the most effective and fun workout ever. Cardio - yep, resistance - yep, strength, core, and balance - yep. Small group setting with individual attention. Effective and fun - hard to beat. You will be amazed at the results without the hurt. But you will work hard!
I've been training with Nick for over two years. Nick worked with me on a plan, combining nutritional goals, supplements, weight training and cardio. Over the last two years, he's kept me on target, motivating me to continue to make progress and to track progress on a regular basis. Nick is thoroughly professional, never misses an appointment and is flexible on the rare days when I need to reschedule. He gives his all during every session, motivating me to push toward my limits - but never beyond what I'd feel comfortable with. He takes pride in his client's growth and is personally invested in making every client reach his/her goals.
I worked out fairly regularly on my own and I was in decent shape. In the three months with Sean and I’ve made huge progress on cardio, strength and lowering my body fat. Sean covers everything you need to be successful. Whatever your goals are, and he makes sure you are happy with everything along the way. Previously I had pretty much constant shoulder pain which is now mostly gone thanks to strengthening my back and shoulders. Sean makes sure he knows what you’re looking for and puts together a plan to get you there. He truly cares about your progress and celebrates all achievements as if they are his own. He’s stuck with me now and I can’t wait to see my progress and strength continue to grow.
We trained as a couple with JR two years ago. We each lost 30 lbs overall over 6 months while also using a high protein/low to no carb menu. Watching a scale go up with muscle is agrravating. JR makes sure that whole body measurements are part of the check in routine. Seeing the inches melt away became way more powerful than that pesky scale! JR's fun techniques and drills successfully combine weight bearing with cardio creating lasting results. We learned "Partners in Pain" a competitive style workout and loved it! Every week was different keeping us fully engaged. JR was sensitive to my desire to not run and to be gentle on my wrists. On my own I would have felt doomed to just keep gaining weight. But he found other ways for me to achieve the results I wanted. By meeting with JR once or twice a week, we hold ourselves more accountable than by just going to a gym.
Autum worked with my husband and I on our overall fitness. She assessed our current condition and areas of concern, and then developed a plan for us. She eased us into a wonderful regimen of stretching as well as other aspects of fitness like strength and cardio. She really knows her stuff and I'm entirely confident of her knowledge. We also appreciated that she has her own studio so we didn't have to work out in a big gym. I highly recommend her.
Ihor is a superstar! He has helped me to get together in my training habits over the past 2 months! I'm not really looking forward to becoming a superman, but want to be able to work in weight lifting and getting my cardio work, and with Ihor's passion and attitude I've been able to achieve some great results in just a matter of 2 months! Adrian is awesome! I've been training with him since December 2013. I love coming into the gym and knowing I'm going to not only have a great work out but have fun doing it too. I've not only lost lbs, and dropped several pants sizes, I feel better. Before working out with Adrian, I was the typical cardio girl and light Pilates. Sure I was "thin" but I wasn't fit, and I wasn't able to build any muscle or definition. After just the first session, I was sore in places I didn't even know existed. The best part about having Adrian as a trainer is knowing I have his full attention, and my goals are his number one priority. I've had trainers before, where all they do is show me the excerise and spend the reminder of the time on their phone. ( Not worth your time or money). But every session with Adrian, we'll go over my goals, he'll ask about my diet, and push me harder than I could ever go on my own. Adrian is a very skilled trainer with a lot of knowledge on health and fitness. I recommend him to everyone I know!
I joined Christen for a demonstration on her flow motion product and was amazed at how fun excercise can be. I don't enjoy excercise but was told Recently I needed to find balance in my body and center myself. What better way to balance yourself than on water trying to balance while doing cardio, core strength training, and balance excercises. She lets you go at your speed instead of drilling you like any class I previously was apart of which pushed me away. I highly recommend Christen for both Flow motion and her personal training. She's an amazing instructor and truly cares about each of her clients. It's been two days and I feel like I've worked muscles that haven't been used in a long time but I don't feel like I worked too hard to where you don't want to go back, like I usually do. I'll be back!! Thanks Christen, so glad that we have met and I look forward to working with you more .
Laurie makes it fun to work out. She mixes it up by showing me new things(pilates, weights, kickboxing for starters) and modifies the exercises to accommodate my abilities (I have some creaky spots) and still keep them effective to reach my goals. She is supportive without being militant and I still work hard.
Matt did an excellent job in several areas including cardio, interval training, strength, and conditioning. He was able to mix things up and keep the workouts interesting as well as effective. The results exceeded my expectations.
Jessica motivates, encourages and pushes you to better yourself every time. I have done cardio lift team training and boot camps with her. I always want to do my best when she's my trainer. She's also pretty funny and fun to be around. Thanks for all you do for us Jessica!
Amber is excellent. She is very aware of body positioning and proper stance, she makes sure that you are aligning your body properly to avoid injury. She makes you work hard, but allowing for adequate rest. A full body workout, including cardio. Plus, Amber has a great personality.
I have been going to Fitness Together for about a year. In the beginning, I just needed to move...I committed to twice a week for 6 months - and it has changed my life. The trainers are wonderful, and sometimes I have the same trainer, sometimes I don't, which is a nice change up in routine for my body. The trainers do not force me to do anything that I'm uncomfortable with, yet make me do things that I would not normally do on my own. In the beginning, they met me where my body and comfort levels were at, and work from there. At this gym, some people are old, some people are fit, some people are overweight, some are just trying to lose that extra 5 lbs. I love the diversity - it's not like other gyms I have been to where I feel self conscious because everyone is already in shape and showing off their physique. This gym is a home-away-from-home. It works well for me because it makes me workout when I have a scheduled meeting with a trainer. The accountability piece is important for me. Parking is free. And they always have a bottle of water and washcloth for me at the beginning of my workouts. At the end, they always have a fruit basket to grab a healthy snack on the go. Additionally, I really enjoy the challenges that they offer - every quarter or so they have a competition/game to track your success outside of the gym. Some of the challenges include things like meal tracking or 30-minutes of cardio. Plus, one more plug, the owners are fantastic. They are great community members, hard workers and I have truly enjoyed getting to know them better. This gym can't be beat...they have created and fostered a lovely work environment and it shows. As I said, I started out with a 6 month commitment, and I'm going into my second year with them...highly, highly recommend this place. Worth every cent.
Having a bit of experience with mat pilates years ago, I hired Emilie to get me back up to speed. Emilie was very thorough and explained everything as we went through our practice such as, what the exercise was, and why we were doing it. She really focused on contouring the exercises to my needs (slight scoliosis, trick knee) and wants (more toned body). Emilie was also able to introduce me to reformer pilates, which is a bit trickier, but I feel like I'm really getting a muscular and cardio workout. I would recommend Emilie to my friends and family for private or pair lessons. She really knows what she is doing, and having one on one attention I feel like I've made leaps and bounds in my practice.
