- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing can depend on a number of factors including the total number of shots, hours and more. Your Thumbtack package always includes: (1) SESSION: - Travel (unless indicated otherwise) - Lighting setup (basic) - Props/model setup (basic) - Photography (2) POST PRODUCTION: - Culling - File backup - Basic processing including white balance, alignment and exposure (3) DELIVERABLES: - 1 crop option (for example, all square images) - JPG files (web or high resolution; up to 4500 pixels on the long side) - PNG file copies (upon request only) - Generous usage rights - carefree, no worries - 90 days of cloud file storage (please download images ASAP) *Please note: HDR real estate photos require more shots and post-production work, therefore your session time and rate will be higher than non-HDR. **Please note: A white background is fine, however, I am no longer offering generic "white box" sessions for Amazon etc. If you will need LUXURY photography, prices are starting at $1500 USD. A free 40 minute phone/zoom consultation is required. Such services may include: - All of the above, plus: - Specialized research - Mood board generation - Shot list generation - Luxury lighting setup / precision lighting - Photo assistant - Prop stylist or other staff - Team lunch (client pays in advance) - Creative prop styling & model posing - Product prep (removing fingerprints, reducing shiny reflective surfaces) - White glove treatment - Custom cropping, up to 3 aspect ratios - Retouching (priced per image) - Ultra high-resolution enlargements (up to 4 ft X 6 ft) - Dropbox storage up to 1 year - Special color filters / stylized images - Up to 2 revisions ** HMUA and Food Styling are not provided, so I would be happy to work with your stylists.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I do have a studio space, and it is a work/live setup with high ceilings, so the atmosphere is casual yet professional. I highly recommend having a phone consultation to clarify your goals. If you have a mood board, please send that over!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The Rocky Mountain School of Photography: 3-month intensive program for digital and darkroom photography, plus additional 1-month commercial photography with large-format camera The Maryland Institute College of Art: studied photo-illustration, fine art and photography Project 52: spent 1 year studying under Don Gianatti The Portrait Masters: spent 1 year studying under Sue Bryce New York City: apprenticed under a number of high-profile photographers for commercial, editorial, fashion, product, corporate, high-society events and more.
