I just saw this. This client is active and all the work has been done, however, she has given me 2 addresses in KY to serve the opposing party. When last we spoke on the phone, I advised her that I needed a good address because it would be very expensive to go to 2 separate cities in KY to try to serve the opposing party -- my initial plan was to send him a letter at one of the addresses, but upon learning that she was not sure this was a good address, I abandoned that plan, not wanting him to go into hiding -- this is where we are on the case. I have advised her of the same -- I just need a good address. The flat fee of 1500 I charged her does not include process server fees and I'm not sure she can afford to send a process server to 2 separate cities in the hopes of serving the opposing party.
