Introduction: Raised in a culturally rich home, my passion for music spans across various genres and touches every facet of life. My childhood in the Northwest deepened my appreciation for local artists and communities, shaping my love for music and my role as the go-to DJ for family events. This enthusiasm for bringing joy through music led me to establish Freshest Roots, a platform that not only showcases live performances but also allows me to share my love for music through organizing community events. My experience includes hosting numerous events at Highline College, consecutive Student of Color Conferences, and various community-focused gatherings, alongside weddings and family events across western Washington. DJ Eddie is incredibly talented, responsive, and humble. He kept our wedding dance party going ALL night. Everyone was up on their feet dancing, and they were having fun!! We got so many compliments on our DJ choice. I would definitely recommend Eddie to any of my friends and family. Thank you, Eddie, for making our wedding so special :).

We booked DJ Eddy for a Community service event and he was amazing. He showed up on time, kept the party going and made sure everyone enjoyed themselves. Oh and he took everyone’s request for music and had every type of music you could think of.

I hired Eddie to DJ my outdoor wedding event. Eddie did a great job feeling out the crowd and playing some great tracks. Several people at my wedding commented on the great job he was doing and the good music he selected. DJ Eddie did a great job and was priced less expensive than other DJ services. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ.

I love working with DJ Eddie! I've worked with him over 5 times and it has been an EXCELLENT experience. He comes fully equipped with speakers, music, cords, and everything for my events to be successful. Recently I had an event and decided to try another DJ to be more accommodating to my audience, and that experience was a headache, they did not bring their own equipment, which caused me an extra $500 to rent and pick up equipment. DJ Eddie is fun and has a plethora of music which allows him to cater to a variety of audiences. I mostly listened to Rap & R&B, but when he DJs he infuses reggae, latin music, Caribbean music, and Kenyan music it is AMAZING and captured my interest. DJ Eddie will be DJing my wedding in October and I am most excited about the reception cause I know its going to be fun!
