Couples Photo Shoot in Studio
Photos and Videos
Lucien made my partner and I feel incredibly comfortable, and was super accommodating of all of our requests. They were generous with their time and talent and very easy to communicate with. We loved the experience of shooting with Lucien, and we love our finished photos!Oct 18, 2019

Aspyn is such a joy to work with, they really bring out the best in everyone. I've always felt very comfortable and free to express myself when working with them. The photos I've had done by them have always been so beautiful, I can't wait to do another shoot someday soon!Jan 27, 2019
Photo Editing, Scanning and Restoration
Pros: Friendly, flexible and laid back while originally communicating about our order/needs. Also Cons: large amounts of time with no communication (or scanning as the documents show what date scanning took place) We ended up having a pretty big miscommunication on expectations of price/work load. We discontinued the project and out of good faith paid more for the work.Sep 11, 2019Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My pricing starts at a flat $200 for any type of photoshoot. That is inclusive of me doing the shoot and editing a final 10-12 image photo set. If you require less photographs, we can discuss a lesser price. The price goes up depending upon the specifications of a shoot. For example, if we are doing a boudoir shoot and you choose to do it in your home, with one to two outfit changes, your price will be around $200-$250 depending on the distance I need to travel to get to you. If you choose to do a shoot in a studio or a hotel, the price of the chosen location gets figured in, as well as distance, so that could be up to $400 or $500 depending on where you choose. I am also able to provide wardrobe and makeup consultation for an extra charge, generally about $50 for wardrobe (with use of your own clothes) and $100 for makeup, although that might vary based upon what is needed. If I outsource a hair or makeup artist, their fee is added onto the total fee of the shoot. I can also provide physical prints for an added fee, dependent upon the size and type of paper used. I only offer a set discount around the holidays, when I offer 20% off the base price of all shoots for two weeks. Dates vary. If you are a repeat customer of 3 or more times, you are eligible for a 10% discount off the base price. For wardrobe consulting, I charge by the hour, $50 per hour. I am more than happy to accommodate reasonable payment plans. If you want my services but feel you need to spread out the cost, please don't hesitate to ask me.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to be extremely clear with each customer on their desires and specifications for their shoot. I would like to know how many photos they are looking for, (I will typically deliver between 10 and 12) and if they have a delivery date that they need them by. If no delivery date is specified, the editing process can take up to one month in favor of other delivery dates I've got. Next I want to discuss expectations and budget for the shoot--are any extras, such as a makeup consultation or extra outfits--that the client would like? Also, what location would the client prefer? Once all the budgeting specifics are laid out, I want to get to know the customer. What style or vibe are they trying to get out of the shoot? Do they want it to be laid back and casual, glam, edgy, sweet? This helps guide me in setting up the space and picking music to help with mood, and also influences the way I take the photos and edit them. It would be best if, first, the client was a fan of the styles I already do, (although I'm willing to branch out if it's similar) and second, if the client could provide some inspiration images so that I can make sure we're on the same page. Finally, on the day of the styling or the shoot, I like to include a little bit of time to just chat and get comfortable in front of the camera, because unless you've modeled before, the first few shots can be a little awkward. Throughout the shoot, I'm open to reasonable suggestions and requests and will do my utmost to make sure you have a positive, unforgettable experience with me. The photos will be delivered as jpegs 3 days to one month after the shoot, and the customer will be informed on the day of the shoot of the expected wait time. If the customer has a specific date they are needed, this MUST be specified as soon as possible in the communication process so the deadline can be met. Again, photos can be finished and sent within 3 days, but only if that is specified. If no time is specified, the process may take up to one month. If prints are requested, I will also give a timeline for that.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been a photographer since 2007. When I was in high school, I started shooting and took an AP Art class both my junior and senior years. I scored highly on that test with my portfolio and went on to get into Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) where I majored in Photography earned my BFA. I'm also continuing my education all the time and take a photography workshop at least once a year. I have worked closely with Luminaria in SLC, Bostick and Sullivan in New Mexico, and Alchemy Studios in Arizona.
