I can't begin to explain how amazing Ally is on so many different fronts! My fiance and I hired Ally to shoot our engagement photos and we were SO impressed with the entire experience. From the moment we heard back from Ally on Thumbtack, we had a good feeling about her. First of all, she was super quick to respond, and made the whole process really easy and enjoyable, and the price was unbeatable! My fiance and I were having trouble choosing a location, and Ally mentioned Indian Hills, CO (mind you, Ally had never photographed in this location). We agreed and were constantly impressed with how Ally was able to pick out spots for fantastic shots, never having been to the area. She was extremely creative, and maintained a positive and fun attitude throughout the shoot. Even better, after all was said and done, Ally got our edited photos back to us in UNDER a week, so we were able to send out Save the Dates immediately. Last, but certainly not least, my fiance and I brought our THREE dogs along for the fun. At first, I thought Ally was going to think we were crazy for wanting to bring them along, but was so relieved at her excited and "all for it" response. She even brought treats to try to get their attention while photographing. Ally understands the importance of the customer, and was so intent on being flexible to make the experience memorable. Ally is truly an artist and I have had friends and family comment on how much they love the style and lighting of her photography. Ally is the best- from start to finish she made everything so easy! After meeting for coffee we knew it was going to be a good fit- but we underestimated it. Taking pictures has never been so easy- I think they speak for themselves! Ally does an amazing job of eliciting pure joy and laughter from her clients and we can’t wait to have her shoot our wedding day. Ally’s photos are phenomenal! She shot our wedding and engagement photos. We love her editing style and she is super quick to get the photos back! We both loved working with her, she is super personable and fun! She is very quick at responding and professional. She knows exactly how to pose people to make it look really natural and beautiful! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Hire me if you are looking for someone who isn’t just going to pose you and do the traditional “smile!”. I want it to feel as if you’re just on a date with your love. I want to make you guys laugh; genuinely. I want to be there for the cries, the love, and the I do’s. Hire me if you want pictures you can look back on for the rest of your life with a smile because it shows your relationship at its core. You’re not going to remember everything on your wedding day, what you’re going to remember is the emotion, and the pictures that bring you back to that emotion.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Setting up a phone call or FaceTime, getting to know one another and the love that you and your lover share, feeling the vibe to see if we are a good fit, and taking it from there!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have six years of freelance photography experience, including a class I took on adobe photoshop and Lightroom.
