We hired Allen as our weddingphotographer, and we are beyond thrilled with the results! The photos turned out absolutely unbelievable — the quality and editing are extremely profession, and each photo feels like you’re right there in the moment when you look at it.
As a shy bride who’s not comfortable in front of the camera, I was pleasantly surprised by how Allen made the experience so enjoyable. He had a way of making it feel like a friend was taking my photos, so it never felt daunting. He also went above and beyond by providing us with so many more photos than we anticipated, which was such a wonderful surprise.

Allen is a phenomenal photographer. Capturing moments authentically is priceless and such a skill and I’m super grateful we hired Allen to take my daughter’s weddingphotos. Not only is he a great photographer he’s also a fantastic wedding guest! He was fun and engaging to everyone. The group photos were not a chore, he made us all laugh and got through it without wasting time. Allen was the photographer for our small backyard wedding last month. I will tell you all of the reasons why we are SO happy we chose him to capture our event:
1. His professionalism and friendly inviting attitude the entire way from first chats to getting the final pictures was incredible. We had so much on our plates and interacting with Allen was always refreshing and reassuring. During the event he was lovely to have around, guests told me afterwards that he was kind and friendly, really adding to the laid back, mellow vibe we wanted for our wedding.
2. Initially, we were drawn to the way he describes his style, photo journalistic, documentary style photography. He assured us that we could have posed shots as well. During the event he was seemingly everywhere at once but also very much in the background and unobtrusive. Once we got our photos, we knew we went in the right direction, because while we have the posed family shots we wanted, we also have so many lovely candid moments captured, not only of us but of all of our friends and family as well. His style really suited our vision for our wedding.
3. Allen went above and beyond for us. He showed up early and captured our getting ready moments because as he told us prior to the day, he likes to capture a story, with a beginning, middle and end. He met us at the location about a month prior as well to scout it out and get familiar with us and the site. During the reception, he pulled us away for a couple shoot when the light was perfect for it. He created so many magical moments for us, taking every opportunity to create something special.
4. Once we got our pictures, he gave us a link that we could easily share with our family and friends, that has a curated album of about half the total images. This has been lovely because we don’t post on social media but wanted a way to share our pictures with others. He also gave us a link to download the full collection of over 700 pictures!! That was for about 4 1/2 hours of shooting!
We seriously can’t thank you enough, Allen, for beautifully capturing our wedding day. We will cherish these photos forever and will recommend you to our friends. ❤️💕

Allen was such a pleasure to work with, passionate about his work, flexible, and caring. He has done two separate engagement shoots for us, as well as a 12-hour wedding day shoot with amazing, fully edited photos in color and B&W. We loved his style of candid shots for our wedding as well as posed & directed shots during our engagement shoots. He can do both!! During our wedding he collaborated so well with our videographers to capture all special moments. He also genuinely spends the time required to edit his photos to his satisfaction, with the thought that these photos will be forever keepsakes for his clients in mind. We ended up with 1600+ photos for our wedding, and there is no hard limit that he places on the number of photos he will produce for you! We had SO MANY beautiful photos to choose from! Thank you thank you thank you Allen for being such a joy to work with!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is very reasonable. My goal is to always add more value to what I'm charging. No matter the price agreed upon, I always give my everything into a project. Delivering the most beautiful result is my priority. The money comes only second yet is still necessary so I can earn a living in order to keep doing what I love to do.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The very first thing I do is establish a friendship. With it comes trust, respect, and confidence. I want my customer to see me as a friend or even a family member. That way, everyone is comfortable around each other and that leads to a stress-free environment where everything unfolds naturally and genuinely. I see beauty in keeping it real.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a self taught photographer and videographer. My desire to learn was fueled by my passion for the art and the memories I create for myself, my friends, and my family. It started as a personal endeavor.
