Greetings! My name is Ben, and I am a freelance wedding, portrait, and outdoor lifestyle photographer based in Seattle. I shoot in a photojournalistic style that focuses on capturing candid, natural moments. I particularly love working with clients in the outdoors, be it in the city at golden hour or out in the mountains/farmlands for open-air weddings. One thing that's important to me is to make sure my clients are never nickel-and-dimed for my services. I'm creating these photographs for YOU, and thus your online gallery will NEVER charge your more for downloads or access. ALL of your photos will be given to you both in web and print/archival resolutions, and I will help coach you on getting the maximum enjoying from your pictures. Ben worked our event taking photos at the Rock 'N' Roll Marathon in Seattle for one of our marketing clients. He was extremely responsive and so easy to work with. At the event, he took incredible photos and immediately understood what we were looking for and hoping to achieve. He sent the photos back, retouched and beautiful, super quickly and we could not have been more pleased with the final results! Ben is amazing to work with, and I would definitely recommend him for any photographer needs.

Ben blew our expectations away. He was excellent at capturing candid photos of all of the little moments you never want to forget. He is also great at posing the staged photos in a way where they don't look forced. Before the wedding, he met with us to understand what type of pictures we're looking for. He also sent us a form to list all of the different pictures we wanted with the names of people who would be in each - so he was super organized and prepared day-of. Not only is Ben a great photographer, he's unbelievably nice. We had a bit of a flower snafu the day of the wedding, and Ben stopped by Ballard market on his way to the venue to see if they had the flowers we needed! He is so easy to work with. He puts everyone at ease, which makes for great pictures! Ben is also really helpful post-wedding; he's knowledgable about which companies print the best photos based on format. We are SO happy with our pictures! We highly recommend Ben!
