FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Typically, sessions are paid for up front for a flat rate, and clients can then choose what they'd like to purchase from their session, whether it be digital files, custom wall art, press products or albums, etc. Headshot packages start at $200, Family/senior session fees start at $250, products/images start at $50, and image collections start at $1195.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Being photographed is an intimate experience and can be a vulnerable thing for many people, so it's incredibly important to me to develop a relationship with everyone a photograph. I want to get to know my clients, so I can better understand how I can create the best final product for each and every one of them. First, we'll do an over the phone or in-person consultation to discuss your ideas about your session, go over clothing, location options etc. We'll then generate some image goals together and decide when and where will be best to accomplish them!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied photography as an art major at Colorado State University, am a PADI certified underwater photographer, and trained under a veteran photographer as her studio manager for three years during/after college. I've also spent countless hours on my own studying retouching techniques, lighting, and posing, not to mention the small fortune spent on courses and retreats to get more hands-on education in my craft. Each experience has shaped my skill set in a different way, giving me a vast range of capabilities that aid in being adaptable for the various needs of my wide variety of clients.
