There is no replacement for good old-fashioned FOLLOW THROUGH. Do what you say and meet your commitments is our guiding philosophy, one that separates us from a lot of other general contractors out there. We do not cut corners and do not sacrifice quality. Project changes and updates need to be clearly and concisely communicated to you the client. If you have a question you contact us. It’s a process and one we are happy to engage in with you. When the job is done we want you happy. Much of our business is referral based. We have enjoyed business for 25+ years on the strength of those referrals.
Rob has devoted most of his life to construction. It truly is his passion. He began in vocational high school, then college and paid and unpaid internships. He later took strategic jobs to enhance his craft further. His goal was to excel in areas that others could not (or would not) understand. Upon his father’s death when he was a teenager, Rob was forced into learning creative ways of solving problems. Where others see problems and dead ends he sees solutions and fixes. For every construction problem he can give you three solutions. Many people feel the code is the ultimate goal or highest bar to achieve for a project. Rob believes the building code is the minimal standard and it’s just a starting point in any project. Some builders see job security in inadequate job performance, questionably charging for changes. Rob is not that kind of contractor. His company does it right the first time. He wants his product to last longer, be safer and look more beautiful.

I knew I wanted to hire Rob when he said that he didn't want any money upfront. In fact, his first bill didn't come until two weeks worth of work had been completed. That's the kind of trust and integrity that Rob possesses. Rob said the job would take 3 months, but it only took 6 weeks, WAY ahead of schedule. What used to be an old carriage house that was neither square nor plumb, is now a fully functioning 1 bedroom rental. The quality of work and attention to detail were evident in the end results, and I can't thank Rob and his team enough. You won't regret hiring him!

Rob was absolutely fantastic! He removed a wall—with a fireplace in it—that separated my kitchen and living room. During the quote, he even climbed up into my attic to make sure everything could safely be removed. He offered great suggestions I hadn’t even considered.
Rob told me they’d start work at 7:00 a.m. and finish around 5:00 p.m.—and sure enough, he was at my door at 7:01 on the dot! His crew worked efficiently, cleaned up after themselves, and hauled away all the trash. They even humored me by setting aside the metal for recycling and placing it on the curb.
My African Grey parrot even liked him—and if you know anything about African Greys, you know how rare it is for them to tolerate strangers, let alone allow someone to hold them!
By the second day, the lighting was installed, my ceiling was patched, and everything was made safe for my grandkids and pets until I decide how to arrange the new space after my floors are installed. I couldn’t be happier with the results or the experience.

Rob and his crew were very responsive to the changing needs of our project. As we worked through the many problems our hundred-plus year old home presented, they came up with multiple options for going forward and presented them to us in a very professional manor. After sharing the pros and cons of multiple "bumps in the road," they always left the final decisions up to us, with no apparent judgments attached when we had to make some hard choices based on cost (which we really appreciated). On that financial note, Rob was super flexible and very understanding as we had to scramble to get emergency funding for a quickly ballooning project. Another important facet of our home repairs that Creative Home Renovations certainly assisted with was REconstructing our old house up to current city/neighborhood codes, while also showing great appreciation for preserving the original craftsman style. In the end, we felt like we got the very best knowledge, honest advice, and excellent workmanship that we could have ever hoped for.... and all with friendly, smiling faces that greeted us every morning! Our experience with Creative Home Renovations, Inc. is extremely positive. We own a small apartment complex in Marysville, WA. Our remodel began as basic replacements by various companies including the roof, gutters and attic insulation. However, the insulation company recommended repairs to the soffits prior to the insulation install; therefore introducing us to Mr. Johnson of Creative Home Renovations. Within a day of the call, and knowing bad weather was setting in, Mr. Johnson and crew replaced the soffits, venting, and facia. Impressed with the workmanship, timeliness, commitment, cleanliness/excellent clean-up, and crew, we sought a bid on carport repair which then followed the ‘gut' and luxury remodel of a 2 bedroom unit, then expanding to the remodel and repair of 5 other units. Mr. Johnson worked right along with his crew, coordinated and contracted excellent specialists as needed at a fair price. In fact, Mr. Johnson was my ‘watchdog’ over workman hired by myself such as the asphalt replacement and exterior drainage. Mr. Johnson kept us informed with multiple pictures of prior condition, issues uncovered, and work completed. Any issues that popped up during or after the remodel, Mr. Johnson or his crew immediately addressed or coordinated with someone that could even if he wasn’t responsible for the item in question. Mr. Johnson’s pricing is fair and equitable and provided insight and recommendations to our ‘architectural’ ideas. And most important, Mr. Johnson and crew are committed to the owner maintaining immediate and ongoing communication. And Mr. Johnson acted as a sounding board and liaison between myself, the property manager, and the tenants. Without that, the project would have taken forever to complete. I cannot thank Rob and his men enough. Quality, commitment, fair pricing, organized, hard working, respectful of property, and likable - quite a combination. The company does it all (wallboards, ceiling boards, cabinet and flooring install, lighting, electrical, plumbing, structural, baseboards, molding, painting, siding, soffits, venting, etc.) or coordinates with subcontractors as needed. The building looks amazing… resulting in an improved bottom-line and salability, as well as owner and tenant pride.
