I recently hired Topaz Remodeling to replace my front porch, and the experience exceeded my expectations in every way. The project involved ripping out the original porch surface, installing a drain (the original builder had never properly hooked it up, leading to leaks), and fixing the damage caused by the leaks, which had destroyed the sub floor, hardwood, and even affected the basement ceiling. From start to finish, the communication from the Shalev (owner/principal) was fantastic. I always knew when the team would arrive, what was planned for the day, and how the project was progressing. They even completed the work ahead of the estimated schedule.Omar, the project lead, was exceptional. His thought leadership and recommendations elevated the final outcome beyond what I thought was possible. He and his crew went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. The tilework on the new porch is stunning, with flawless precision and attention to detailOmar ensured exact measurements to achieve full tile pieces, which added a polished and professional touch to the finished product. The quality of work was outstanding, and I couldnt be happier with the results. The new porch not only looks incredible but functions perfectly with the new drainage system. Topaz Remodeling turned a stressful situation I put off for years into a seamless experience with an outcome thats better than I could have imagined.I highly recommend Topaz Remodeling to anyone in need of reliable, high-quality remodeling services. I wouldnt hesitate to use them again for future projects. Thank you to Omar and the entire team for an exceptional job!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a minimum of one-hour free-in person consultation to learn about your project, goals, and schedule. Then we provide a detailed estimate and help with planning, design, and material selection if needed.
Once everything’s approved, we agree on an accepted schedule our team and the work can be started. Then we keep you updated throughout the entire process with messages, pictures, and in person project management 5x days a week. After completion, we do a final walkthrough to ensure you're 100% satisfied and pick up the final payment.
Our goal is to make your remodeling experience smooth, transparent, and successful from start to finish.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
At Topaz Remodeling Inc., our training comes from generations of hands-on experience. Our journey began with my father, who learned the trade by working alongside his father in Israel, gaining real-world construction skills from a young age. He later brought that experience to California, where he founded Topaz Remodeling nearly 19 years ago.
We’ve continued that tradition, learning the craft directly in the field — from framing and finish work to full remodels — by working closely with experienced professionals. Over time, we’ve combined this deep, hands-on training with continued learning in building codes, safety practices, and modern remodeling techniques to ensure every project meets the highest standards.
Our knowledge comes from decades of doing the work — not just studying it and it shows in every job we complete.
