Hector and his crew did a great job. 100 yr old Tacoma house with cracked, peeling, weathered paint on cedar shake siding. They replaced lots of broken cedar shingles. They also repaired / replaced fascia boards. They painted the house, garage, and picket fence. Everything looks great.

Perez General Contractor did an excellent job of repairing our rental home exterior and repairing and restraining the deck. They provided a good value estimate and suggested additions work needed to fix the siding, garage door, driveway, and deck issues. The work was done professionally very well, and in a timely manner. I have had a chance to work with several contractors within the last 5 months for a condo renovation. Each contractor was involved with some large aspect of the project (wall demo, floors, painting). Hector was given the painting component. Among the 7-10 contractors I talked to, Hector was the ONLY one who provided a proper, professional document with itemized pricing in each aspect of our paint job. Ceilings, walls, baseboard preparation, resurfacing and texturizing… Hector was clear about what he was charging for. It gave me a picture on how to budget or prioritize where to direct my budget and allowed me consider adding door and door jam painting. His pricing is VERY fair. I spoke to 5 different contractors for the painting project and Hector was in the middle of the very wide price range I came across. I ultimately went with Hector because of his professional delivery of an estimate and honestly, because he seemed kind and genuine. After all the demo and flooring was done with other contractors, Hector was the last contractor to touch the reno site. My experience with him was the most stress free out of all of them. He and his father were punctual, they CAREFULLY protected all flooring and built-ins, and worked diligently and quickly. They finished our 785 sqf condo in about 3-4 days. He then asked for us to look over the space for any concerns or additional adjustments needed before requesting payment. We did have some adjustments needed. He returned the following week and carefully addressed all the spots we hoped to fix and continued work with a pleasant and professional demeanor. We were extremely happy with the results and even more happy to have found a single go-to contractor out of the number we worked with. They left making us feel like our business was genuinely appreciated even though we made them come back. They were extremely patient and actually cared about how happy we were with the results. This was such good business practice and execution. I highly recommend Hector if you are hoping to work with skilled professionals that are also good people. Hector is permanently on my rotation for remodel projects in the future.
