To begin with, my personal life went upside down and I desperately needed someone to help me steer through. I needed someone to help me process my emotions, understand everything that was happening and gain a perspective and maturity that would help me not just with my current situation but also in the future. It feels like forever ago when I had my first call with Mike. From then to the last call, I have experienced so much emotional and mental growth within myself. Few of the things I learned while working with Mike are i) Self acceptance ii) Ok to be emotionally vulnerable iii) Life happens and how to steer through iv) Process my emotions v) Express myself. Mike pushed me out of comfort zone and helped me take out the emotions that I otherwise preferred to bottle inside. I believe that is what I needed for myself and Mike did it perfectly. Mike is very patient, good listener and an observer. He comes with a calm energy and is very balanced in his approach. It means a lot when you know you can rely on someone to tell you exactly what you need to hear. So, once again, thank you Mike and I would reach out to you in the future if and when the need arises.

I have had a wonderful experience with Michael because he gave me some insightful ideas about careers I know existed. He also helped me make immediate changes such as moving to a new city and personal life issues. Now I have a new job in a new city and some good ideas under my belt for my future.

From the beginning, I've had reservations about speaking on my personal struggles with a professional. Recent circumstances came to a head, prompting me to seek it out. Full disclaimer: I am an old friend of Steven's and seeing a great deal of his content on social media, I was encouraged to seek it and him out. Throughout my experience, I do concede to the fact that I'd probably not have sought professional help if he weren't an old friend, but throughout our sessions, I have felt a new sense of myself that I'd never felt before; much better than I have felt in all my life and, no, I'm not overstating it by any means. Steven has helped me tap into feelings I had that I couldn't interpret because I had suppressed them, but getting them out in the open during our sessions has started to make my depression and anxiety melt away. I still have a long way to go, most definitely. However, I am confident that with Steven's help, I'll achieve what I want to in life by confronting my struggles head on; not to mention, our friendship has been strengthened by his willingness and openness to take the time to help me. It is heartwarming to see him pursue something he's always been good at: intently listening to people and wanting to find solutions for people who face adversity.

I worked with Michael for a number of months and loved the experience. I'd be lying if I said I got what I expected from the process but what Michael uncovered was far more useful than anything I could have imagined at the outset. We began with helping me explore a career change and my search for meaning and purpose. We set a number of practical and clearcut goals to get me there together but through this process Michael helped me realise something more basic was out of place. Prior to speaking with Michael, I felt like I was a bit crazy or something speaking with friends, many envious of my position and how I just needed to suck it up and get on with it. Fortunately for me Michael had been down a similar path, it felt like I was being guided by myself one year in the future. Michael validated my thoughts and feelings, giving me examples from his own life which were immensely helpful and together we mapped out an acceptable plan. He was a pleasure to work with, accommodating when I had last minute schedule issues due to childcare for example and keep everything well and truly on track. This felt like conversations with a caring friend, yet had accountability too. In the past I've had coaches who like to talk but don't get you anywhere, Michael will get you results! With Michael's helped I've stepped back to prioritize exercise, meditation and self care, realising that in my current state I cannot see the forest for the trees. Given my practical and headstrong mindset, I'm confident I wouldn't have come to this conclusion myself and owe Michael a great debt of thanks. I now feel like I'm on the right path, it wasn't what I was expecting but I know it's where I need to be. I'm confident should you choose to get help from Michael, he will help set you on the path you need to be. Good luck in your journey and thank you so much Michael!
