What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to connect deep scientific knowledge with clear, personalized teaching. I hold a B.A. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Music Composition from Mills College/UC Berkeley, and I’ve conducted cancer research at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. That experience not only sharpened my understanding of biology and chemistry, but also taught me how to explain complex systems with clarity and purpose. I offer tutoring in science, math, and English, combining academic rigor with empathy and adaptability. Whether a student is preparing for a tough exam or just needs a confidence boost, I tailor each session to their learning style—breaking down difficult topics into digestible steps while building critical thinking skills.
