I benefitted from a world-class education that included study at the University of Cambridge, and I offer my students the same... For 10 years, I've offered an unconventional brand of writing instruction. This curriculum is based on a renowned program designed to introduce 8th grade thinking to rising 6th graders. Beyond that, I've re-written the famous Elements of Style guide to writing for this same age-range. That is the foundation of my course-work. Thus, this is a course for students ready to make an intellectual jump and take on a challenge. I am flexible to incorporate student needs. I can provide supplementary work in Vocabulary and Grammar. I excel in work with students who don't understand Why. ⚪ Why do they have to go to school ⚪ Why do they have to read that book ⚪ Why do they have to listen to you 🫵 I've lived an unconventional life that includes (currently) backpacking around the world. I see cultures and history that makes me different. We hired Theo and his team this summer for private work in Science. Our tutor was a former Middle School teacher who had a the backfround in marine biology. My boy was asking about the session every day and after was learning more on his own about marine life, dinousars, and other animals. The classes have captured his attention. I rated StudentCircle highly for Professionalism and Work Quality. I also appreciate that the value, as the cost is reasonable compared with other individuals I chatted with. Thank you! To whomever this concerns, Before I signed up with this tutoring program, I was not very good academically. In fact, I was the worst in the toolshed. Knowing that I have no time to lose and my bleak future is upon me, I did what many people think it's best; To join the military. I didn't know what to expect of the navy to be honest, so I was unaware of the test you need to take called the asvab. My heart sank a little. I began searching on the Internet, looking for a tutor (especially on math) until I found out about Theo. Theo is the CEO for student circle and unlike other tutors; he is the only one that stood out. He is understanding, ambitious, and kind, but most importantly he can relate to you, creating a special bond which prompts you to succeed. So I explained to him my situation and he set me up with another tutor by the name of Xin. Right off the bat both of us got along and he helped me through two grueling months. There were times when I wanted to give up, but he was there for me. The funny thing is, he is going through an exam as well during my time with him, so he is the hardest working tutor I have ever came across. I swear, these two do actually care about me because when I took the asvab, I scored high enough to achieve some of the most coveted jobs the navy has to offer! These two will forever be part of my family. Student circle has the best sessions as well as memories. Thank you.

Two months in… Everything is good so far … Tutor has been flexible and our child did come home with his first Pre-Calculus B during midterms. We've heard a lot about our child showing better organization for class but there is still work to do. We are happy and will continue.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I accept Credit/Debit, Paypal, and Venmo. I invoice on the 5th and 20th of each month and offer auto-pay.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin our relationship with a complimentary 60-minute consultation, so I can get to know your student, goals, interests, etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have operated a multi-state tutoring company, StudentCircle LLC, since 2014. That company is currently raising funding for rebranding as an Edu-Tech technology that will one day be in every Seattle Public High School.
