- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Discovering I had cancer at the age of 21 was a bit of a wake up call. I was roused from the unauthentic life I had unknowingly been leading and forced to confront some realities of life. While it was difficult, in hindsight, it was a blessing as I was able to open up my world to greater things, including learning what it means to live a truly balanced and healthy lifestyle - physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually. While my interest in learning about all of these areas was at first personal, at some point I realized that it was my passion and I wanted to share it with others. As part of my quest to grow and become the best I can be, over the years I have studied and obtained certifications in nutrition, personal training and wellness coaching.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I offer on-site one-on-one and small group personal training. In other words, as an added convenience, I come to you. I lead a varied workout, touching on all key areas - strength, balance, core, cardio and range of motion - and adjust the intensity based on each individual. I offer one-on-one wellness coaching sessions, most of which can be done over the phone. I like to meet in person at the beginning and end at the very least and I will either come to you or meet at a local coffee shop or place of your choosing. Wellness coaching is a powerful experience where I assist you to reach your wellness goals.
