FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have specific pricing for each type of session we offer. For full package pricing and what's included, we can send that information directly to potential clients at any time. It's important to be transparent with pricing to all clients. Everyone should know all pricing requirements and product offerings prior to booking a session. Headshots: 129.00 - Payment due at the end of the shoot. 50 Minute Portrait Sessions: 299.00 (99.00 deposit due at the time of booking to reserve the time and the balance is due at the end of the shoot). Boudoir: 99.00 - Includes Hair/Makeup and a 2 hour shoot. This is a discount fee for the services and then we have packages for the images/product that range from 589.00 - 998.00. The 99.00 session fee is due at the time of booking to reserve the time and then the package is selected and paid for at the end of the shoot. If the package is paid in full at the end of the shoot, an additional 100.00 is adjusted off of the package total. We also offer financing through Pay Pal which allows for 6 months, no interest, along with in house payment plans for our larger packages. If we are creating a payment plan for a client, a 200.00 down payment is required at the end of the shoot and then we process two 50.00 payments per month on the 10th and 25th with card information on file. Payment plans are only offered with our packages for our full 2 hour boudoir shoot packages. For our weddings, commercial shoots and product sessions, we create custom packages/pricing based on the needs of our client.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Clients can call, email or text to book a shoot or with any questions. We will go over what their photography needs are and go through scheduling options. Once the session time has been reserved, all information/instructions needed for the type of shoot booked are sent via email. Once the session information is received, clients are welcome to email, call or text with any questions. A reminder confirmation email is sent a few days prior to the shoot. Once the client has arrived at our studio or we have arrived on location for them, if hair/makeup is included, the client will start with our makeup artist first. If it's not included, Jeph will discuss the shoot with the client, show examples of our work that relate to the type of shoot they are doing, discuss ideas/vision and goals, go through outfits (if necessary) and then begin the shoot. We have a specific process for every type of shoot in terms of image delivery. We go over before the shoot and after the session when clients can expect their completed images and we have guarnteed dates of image delivery for each type of shoot/service we provide. All information and image delivery deadlines are included with the session information before the shoot and in writing at the end of the session. Our sessions range from 20 minute headshot sessions, 60 minute portrait sessions, 2 hour boudoir shoots, to custom hours for commerical projects and weddings.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My wife and I own and operate DeLorme Creative together. I have been a photographer for over 25 years and have been a professional photographer for the past 11 years. What began as a hobby and side job to the Architectural company I owned, became my full time profession 11 years ago.
