I’m a documentary photographer based in Seattle. I work observationally, paying close attention to what’s already happening rather than staging or directing. While many photographers chase perfect poses and big expressions, I’m drawn to the in-between moments — the quiet, honest scenes you might overlook until you see them in a photograph. I use ambient light whenever possible, shooting on both film and digital. I work calmly, quietly, and without fuss, so most people forget I’m there. That’s when the real story shows up.
