I believe that good photography is a balance between memory and interpretation, sight and vision. My curiosity lies in the behind the scenes of the sought after static images. By focusing on the process and movement, I aim to capture the intimate, honest, and taken-for-granted details of people's lives and familial co-becomings. Those quiet moments before you think I might be taking your picture, grandparents wiping baby's drool in preparation for the photoshoot, or uncooperative children. I also simply prefer documenting over directing and love the challenge of making the most of whatever lighting situation I walk into. I love witnessing and documenting relationship love.
