From head shots, weddings and engagement sessions to family and infant portraits, I'll work closely with you to find out how you want to be portrayed. Plus, we will have fun doing it! I am a photographer with a love for people and telling their story. My pricing is very reasonable based on studies of other area photographers. I can also create a custom package to fit your budget.

I was really nervous about having my professional photographs done because they are so important. Kris was wonderful at calming my nerves, and I ended up having a lot of fun during the shoot. My portraits are wonderful, and really polished my website. Kris is great, and I have already referred many people to her!

Kris was asked to photograph my 18 month old very fussy fidgety granddaughter. Before even taking the first photo Kris engaged the baby, playing with her, showing her the camera and very successfully making the baby comfortable. The subsequent photo shoot went exceedingly and at points hilariously well. The thoughtfulness that went into Kris's preparation was quite impressive. It demonstrated a clear understanding of the nature of her subject and what needed to be accomplished to insure a good shoot. Coupled with a fine eye for lighting and composition Kris's engaging manner and professional demeanor portends a very sucessful career.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not have a standard pricing system as each portrait session or wedding may have different needs. For example a wedding that is 4 hours versus a wedding that is 8-10 hours will be priced differently. General portrait packages can range from $150.00 - $300.00 depending on the needs of the client.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer a first time meeting or consultation appointment to make sure we are a good fit. This is strongly advised for weddings, not necessarily for portraits.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Art Institute of Seattle as well as being mentored by a professional photographer that has many years in the business.
