One of my greatest talents is the ability to connect with any group of people/type of person and get them to relax in front of the camera, it's more like a superhuman ability! Opening of the Eyes Photography is proud to provide clients with the photographs they've always dreamed of. It's common to hear new clients say "I'm not photogenic or am super shy" and worry about past experiences with photographers to which I say - "As a professional photographer, IT'S MY JOB TO ENSURE YOU GET THE STUNNING IMAGES YOU ALWAYS HOPED FOR! I just need you to show up feeling your best, leave the rest to me!" ** Also, I've been trained in lighting by Peter Hurley (the internationally famous headshot photographer). I enjoy exceeding my client's expectations of how they look in photographs (more like blow their mind - in a good way).

The best experience I could imagine!! This photographer really helps you to connect with not only one another but the camera and maintaining comfort through out the experience. Steph at Opening of the Eyes Photography did an AMAZING job with our wacky holiday photos! I'm still in shock in how well my girlfriend and I look. Taking headshots with Steph was awesome! I chose her because of the varied styles in her portfolio as well as the fun and playful, but polished look that comes across in all of her headshots. I was with her for about an hour and a half on a Saturday in a relaxed, fun studio (a vintage barbershop that has a lot of cool nooks & crannies for great shots) and received about 30-40 edited headshots within a week to chose from. Very happy with the work she did, even my boss asked me where I got them done so she could get new ones.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do! It's on my website, packages page. AND......... I'm offering mini-portrait sessions for headshot type and family photo's for you AWESOME Thumbtack clients!! Headshot type is $150+ session (add $50+ and I'll travel to you). This includes 20+ usable proof images, you'll select 5 favorites for the final sizing! Turn around time is 7-14 days unless you tell me otherwise.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Start with a casual meeting via phone, facetime, or in person and get a feel for your needs and expectations. I will always submit a final shot list for your approval to ensure I've got everything you need and finally schedule the photoshoot!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Don't hesitate, JUST DO IT!! So many people put off getting new headshots or family photos and once they see them they're in **L O V E** with them and can't believe they delayed! Don't put it off any longer!
