About
Does your student need support in English Language Arts? With my lifelong love of reading, a perfect 800 in Reading/Writing on my SAT, and excellent high school and university English grades, I'm prepared to help your student level up their reading and writing skills.
I also offer general study skill and homework support in most K-12 subjects.
Are you looking for piano lessons? I offer one-on-one instruction for beginning and intermediate students of all ages, with a special emphasis on music theory and ear training. I work well with young students (ages 5-6) and incorporate singing, clapping, and musical games to keep learning fun. Older students can expect to work through a versatile curriculum with a variety of fun pieces, ear training games, and regular theory assignments.
My education: Bachelor's of Musical Arts, Pacific Lutheran University (with a focus on classical singing and a successfully completed Keyboard Proficiency exam)

Alivia has been providing great tutoring services for us almost 2 years. We originally engaged her to provide English tutoring services but soon asked her to help with other topics. She is well-rounded and bright, exactly the kind of person you would like to invite into your home to help with academics.

Where do I start? I wish I could give more than 5 stars to Alivia. She is so amazing and I asked her if she would be willing to help my 15 yr old daughter, she agreed and even though we have only had 2 sessions, the first time was great, my daughter really liked her tutoring style. The second time, my daughter walked into the house and told my husband and I both that she “actually understood Chemistry now” and said it with a smile. There is nothing more valuable in life, then to see the smile on her face and we are seeing a huge improvement in my daughters exams and quizzes. We have set up to see Alivia weekly. I highly recommend her if you are looking for someone to tutor your littles.

Alivia is great! My daughter started tutor with her since August. Her reading has improved a lot. Alivia takes her time to explain things that my daughter doesn’t understand and gave tons of suggestion on how to improve understanding context of paragraphs.
