Introduction: Hi there! I am a vocalist and coach offering private vocal lessons. I earned my Master’s degree in Vocal Performance from San Francisco Conservatory of Music and my teaching specialty is pop/belting technique. Singing Lessons
Ashten has been wonderful with my shy 9 year old daughter. Grace wanted to sing but was hesitant take lessons at first. By the end of the first lesson, Ashten had Grace so comfortable, she went from singing in a whisper to singing out loud. Grace cannot say enough nice things about Ashten! I am very happy with Ashten's skills and teaching efficiency!

It was really relieving on how quickly she was able to respond to my request for a lesson for my daughter because during quarantine it's been hard to find any voice teachers where I live. My daughter had never done something like this before but had become interested over this past year and this was a really great start for her. Ashten was nice and open to any of my daughters questions throughout the 30 minute lesson. Would definitely recommend!

I’ve improved so much as a singer in just a few months with Ashten’s teaching. She has an excellent, scientific method of teaching vocal technique and though we don’t have the longest lessons together, I always learn a lot each time. She’s a kind person who genuinely cares about her students’ success and has the skill set to get them there, no matter what level they’re at.

I have studied with many voice instructors in the past and Ashten is the best I have met so far! In the past 6 months, we have done many vocal exercises to correct mistakes I had in breathing and now I can much more easily access the higher ranges that I couldn't reach before. Ashten also has a lot of knowledge in musical theatre. She has been very helpful in guiding me to connect with the character and the emotions so that I'm not just singing the lyrics and the tones but telling a story through my voice. I'm super happy that I found Ashten and strongly recommend Ashten to everyone out there who's looking to improve their singing!

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If you are a brand new student, you are guaranteed a free 30 minute lesson! During that lesson, we will chat about your goals and what you want to get out of lessons. From there, we will do a few warmups so I can hear where you are at, discuss what our first steps would be to reach your goals and if time allows, we’ll pick out a song to work on :)
