Kim M. says, "I had estimates from several companies but appreciated Max's professionalism and frankness. I asked about spray foam insulation but Max did not try to up-sell me. Since I had no evidence of rodents he suggested to stick with what had worked in the past (cellulose and fiberglass). Other companies tried to scare me into using foam and others tried to get me to pay $1000's for a fan and mold removal (there was no evidence of mold or dampness). The bid was competitive but what made it stand out was they did all the paperwork for the PSE rebate (which was significant). Other companies leave you on your own to do the rebate paperwork which is much more complicated than providing a receipt. The work crew worked hard and were respectful of my property. Because they were blowing cellulose, it took longer than expected but the team worked hard and stayed late to get it done. When there was a machine malfunction they told me the volume of insulation wasn't sufficient and they needed to come back the next day. Most homeowners aren't crawling around in attics or crawl spaces to inspect the insulation so there is a great deal of trust required when hiring an installer.) The removal and installation crews were very nice, worked hard, and were respectful of my house. The hose has scratched up some paint on my doorframe and Max came over promptly to fix it. Max was really easy to work with, his pricing is fair, and he is really honest. Also, he's not just the bid guy--he is on site to inspect the work both during installation and when it's complete. He also responds quickly to any concerns or questions. Insulation is expensive--make sure you hire a company that you trust to do the job properly. ..."See more
