FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$110 - 50 minute individual session; $130 - 50 minute couple or relationship session; $165 - 80 minute individual session; $185 - 80 minute couple or relationship session; Evening and weekend appointments available.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation to answer any questions about who I am, how I work, and for what issues or struggles you are looking for help. At the end of this call, we can schedule your first session or, if you would like a referral to another therapist that may be a better fit, I am happy to provide that. When we meet for the first session, it is my goal to make you feel comfortable. Doing anything for the first time can be unsettling so I go at your pace. This means that I do not pressure you or judge how little or much you choose to disclose. First sessions allow us to go deeper into the background of your goals and what you are looking for out of therapy. They tend to include any logistical questions about working together. The first session is also where you can continue to assess whether I feel like a good match for your personality.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family therapy from Antioch University Seattle and my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Western Washington University.
