Charla is amazing! Is helping us (both 70) learn to dance for our wedding. We both have 2 left feet and she is very patient and provides excellent instructions to make dancing feel natural. We have several more sessions scheduled and are looking forward to to our first dance after the wedding ceremony.

The dance teacher communicated well when we talked and she was very polite and helpful and friendly. When I got to the lesson we worked on ballet basics and she knew what she was doing. She was again very helpful and polite. She was a very competent teacher. I enjoyed myself and I will try to go again when I can!

I have been taking lessons from Charla for several months. She is a talented instructor. She has a knack for knowing exactly what I need to learn a wide variety of dances and sometimes complicated steps and choreography. She's friendly, professional and I feel really good about my progress. Her classes are fun I have really enjoyed working with her. I have also taken a few of her group class and that has been really helpful, expecially learning to lead partners at various levels of experience. My confidence and ability are greatly improved thanks to Charla are her caring ways!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified ballroom instructor. a dance and drama major at Scripps college, and the university of Washington
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have danced since I was 4 years old. I took ballet, gymnastics, piano, acting, and ballroom. I loved them all, and wish to share the joy they have brought me with others.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I get lots of calls for very young dancers to take ballet, or creative movement. Lots of couples are interested in ballroom wedding dances.
