My overall experience with Bruce was excellent. I choose Bruce after narrowing it down to three people. One wanted too much money and was not specific into what they could or not do. They also would not break the project down. A second I tested with a short story. She was distracted with too many issues and I will need to email her again and ask her to send something back that had I sent her via regular mail. The way we worked out my project a book was to break it into thirds. That way I would have the option of pulling out at any time if I did not think it was working. If I were to do it over I would have sent him the entire book, it would have been easier for him to follow and better for me to get the completed work at once. A strong point is his the correct use of words. I confused foray with foyer deafly with deftly ect. He suggested I use the word disembark for passengers instead of the tem off load. He correctly pointed out, passengers disembark, cargo is off loaded. It was significant that he knew the correct word but caught it as well. He also caught a flaw in my storyline where I had an event happen a few days ago, then said the event happened yesterday. There were issues we he thought more clarity was needed and I was not sure it was needed, but no matter, the opinion of any reader has to be weighed. Bruce was timely, critical when he felt something did not work, and positive when he thought it did. I have another project I am working on and will definitely use Bruce again.

I have two levels: a flat fee for resumes, and then an a la carte hourly system to fit any budget.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like an initial assessment interview to see if we're a good fit, and also to be sure the client understands the entire process.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A degree in journalism and English. Strong interviewing and listening skills. A CPRW (Certified Professional Resume Writer). A work history with a wide diversity of sectors, including consulting, medical, business and nonprofits. Training in graphic design and publication layout and the knowledge in how to integrate that with Microsoft Word to create that best-looking and most professional career marketing tool you can have.
