- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors of Arts in Visual Communication Design and a minor in Art with an emphasis in Photography (film & digital).
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've had a passion for portrait photography for as long as I can remember… In grade school, I would bring disposable cameras to class and take snapshots of my friends at recess. I've always loved to take pictures of people and capture special memories! :) I took many of my friends senior photos for the year book in high school and in college I was drawn to Graphic Design, as it uses photography often. After taking more photography classes (film & digital) to contribute to my design degree, I realized my true passion was taking photos of people. I started my photography business in 2014!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The advice I would give to a customer looking to hire a photographer is don't underestimate the importance of this memory! Hire someone you trust and connect with, and the beauty of your day will shine through the photographs you will cherish forever.
