FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is really something that has to be determined by the project and by the client's expertise with photography. I have three pricing models I use based upon the level of services required. For clients who are looking for more of a self-service approach I offer a flat rate service. For clients who need additional support and service I have a hybrid pricing that includes basic project fee for image creation and a range of prices for additional editing and printing services. For the client that wants the full service SPA treatment approach I build custom packages to meet those needs. My biggest goal is to negotiate fairly so that the client receives the best value. Communication is absolutely critical to insure all expectations are met and accounted for.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked as a professional photographer for 28 years. I have degrees in Photography, Communication, and Journalism and have completed post graduate courses in filmmaking. I have taught photography at Spokane Falls Community College for 18 years and was chair of the Applied Visual Arts department for 8 years.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up around photography my whole life. My father was a photographer in LA and later had a camera repair business which gave me the opportunity to begin working with cameras at a very young age. I have been in love with photography my whole life!
