My project was small, perhaps the smallest you could imagine which is protect many deck companies ignored me. I just needed a hole patched but I needed it done right. In the November storms a massive branch broke off a cedar and smashed through my deck. Hekuran and his partner showed up late afternoon on Sunday to do a free estimate, saw the project, quoted a price and offered to do the work then and there. Less than an hour later all patched with clean cut lines. You’d be hard pressed to find it, even if you knew it was there.

We had two outdoor carpentry projects with really specific needs that Hekuran and team did an amazing job on. They fixed our crawl space door that was broken, and completely rebuilt an outdoor enclosure for our water heater. Great craftsmanship and fair pricing. Will definitely be looking to them for any carpentry or general contracting needed in the future! Before/after photos of the two projects are included.

We hired NW Carpenter to reinstall our windows (10 sliders + casements and 1 sliding door) since our original installer did an egregiously poor job. Hekuran — possibly the world’s sweetest and scrupulously honest man (he insisted that we take pictures of every receipt for materials to be completely sure he was charging us only for what he purchased) — has done an absolutely wonderful job. Our windows look great — they’re level and centered, they slide beautifully, and he has been meticulous in making sure they’re waterproofed (flashing, etc) and that under the siding, the house is now covered with a waterproof layer (not the case when we bought it). We’re thrilled with NW Carpenter and will absolutely call them again.
