Chris is not only an exceptional drum teacher but also a wonderful mentor and role model. His deep knowledge of drumming, combined with his genuine passion for teaching, has allowed our grandson to improve his drum skills. It’s clear that Chris takes the time to understand each of his students, tailoring lessons to their needs and interests. Our grandson looks forward to every lesson with Chris, and it has been heartwarming to see his confidence and skills develop. Chris is an outstanding drum instructor! My 11 year old son is losing his eyesight due to a degenerative retinal disease, but has been interested in trying his hand at learning to play the drums. As a mother, I was just wanting my son to find something that was "his thing" and that would give him the confidence in himself that he so desperately needed. Chris did not hesitate to take my son on - vision impairment and all! The kindness, patience and compassion he has shown my son has been amazing - not to mention he's a phenomenal drummer! My kiddo had never touched a drum in his life and had no previous experience with a musical instrument. Chris has made the lessons accessible to my child and has gone out of his way to tailor the lessons to my son's needs. My son has a blast! If he's had a bad day or is feeling down, by the time he's done with his lesson with Chris, he comes out energized, smiling and is in the best mood! Chris makes the lessons fun and is so encouraging and positive and makes my kid feel like the best rock star on Earth. In the months we've been going to our drum lessons, I've watched my son's confidence grow exponentially. He feels like he's finally got the potential to be good at something - and that's all because of Chris. You can't put a price tag on that. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Chris Korzin! If you want an instructor who is not only a gifted musician, but genuinely ENJOYS teaching to kids and people of all ages, all levels of experience - and welcomes kids with special needs/circumstances, Chris is the best you will find - hands down!

My 7 year old takes lessons with Chris and really enjoys going every week. He is super professional, great with my son, and super patient. Definitely worth the drive from Olympia!

Chris is hands down the best instructor. He is extremely friendly, patient, and professional. I started with almost no experience as a drummer and have gained a lot of skills and confidence working with him. If you are on the fence about taking drum lessons, I say go for it!!
