The problem was the circuit breaker. Dan quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem and then walked me through how to deal with it myself if it occurred again. He showed up on time and made me feel comfortable as soon as I met him. The EV was charging when he left. Top marks.

I can’t say enough good things about Skipper and Sons. They showed up right on time, were super friendly, and got the job done quickly. What really stood out is that they took the time to explain what was going on with my wiring and gave me tips on how to prevent issues in the future. The installer did a good job of installing my failed basement light switch. I was, however, dismayed at the final cost of the project. It seemed excessive for the time it took to do the repair.

As to the pricing we have found ourselves to be reasonable with our upfront pricing. We typically have found to be in the middle for pricing with other companies and our overhead cost, we have done our best to keep overhead down. What sets us apart is our no hassle warranties, our customer service and the men and women we employ. But still a lot goes into pricing when hiring any professional business and not just parts and labor. Everything has gone up in cost and we try our best to keep the inflation in mind and help our customers the best we can. We offer multiple options for each project. We have discounts for veterans. We offer financing.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When we talk to a customer, we try our best to accommodate to their schedule when doing anything with their project. Our customers are always first. We always keep them in the loop from start to finish.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Master electrician and over 20 years in the electrical field. Our guys that we hire we send them to school. Its a mandatory every apprentice tends schooling.
