Being told by your doctor that you are borderline diabetic and in high risk blood pressure territory is never a good thing. I decided that working with James was a way to start on the right road. Turns out, it was the best decision about my health I could have made. After assessing my abilities and potential improvement points, James set me on a course for better diet, achievable training results, and effective neurological triggers that I could employ to reverse the damage I had caused. In the six months I have been working with him I have lost 55 pounds, completely left the at risk diabetes category, ceased my blood pressure medication as my doctor recognized the results, and am now outpacing my kids in activities. This man changed my life. I am sure he also appreciated my kids writing him the thank you cards that simply read, "thank you for making my daddy not fat!!" Working with James is an education and a life changer. Do not miss the opportunity to do so.

I've been working with Robert for over a year to improve my fitness through circuit training, boxing, kick boxing, and learning escrima techniques. I've seen great improvement in my power, speed, and footwork. Each session Robert brings a motivational attitude that pushes me forward in fitness yet is attentive to any injury or limitations. He is patient and works with me to design sessions that help strengthen problem joints and muscle groups or speed recovery. He is flexible with scheduling, which is great since mine is always changing. His dedication to health and fitness shows in his own lifestyle and he instills that same ethic in his clients. My work with Robert has been great and the inspiration of postive changes in my own lifestyle.

I began training with Kye two years ago when I was a freshman in college. I had never done anything like martial arts before, but hearing of his lessons gave me the opportunity to break out of my shell and achieve that dream. His lessons were beginner friendly and I never felt looked down upon for being a girl, a small fry, etc. Soon, I could use my body in ways I never knew I could, and was able to puruse my own individual path as a martial artist. It was good routine excercise and built a lot of self-confidence. I learned a lot of good self-defense for everyday life as well as awesome moves for practice matches. As a teacher, Kye is patient, charismatic, fun and willing to go the extra mile to help his students learn. I would recommend Kye's system for anyone wishing to pursue their martial arts dreams!

I took Karate from Misha and found her to be a compassionate and knowledgeable instructor with a sincere desire to help her students succeed. The age of the student doesn't matter. I took her classes as an adult and found them to be inspirational and rewarding. She truly cares about her students and her passion for teaching (both Karate and life's lessons) is obvious. I highly recommend her.

Since I am not a dancer I was skeptical of taking a dance class. Franchesska's classes are great for people who want to be more graceful in their movement as well as get some exercise. Her classes never feel like a workout yet my body is more toned, I have better balance and improved posture. Classes are fun and tailored to suit students abilities and needs.

He's a great martial arts instructor! He's knowledgable in karate, aikido, and jujutsu, but more importantly--he can teach what he knows. Whether you're a beginner or a black belt, working with Yamamoto-Sensei will help you improve.

Master Choi and Mister Larson are great with kids of ALL ages creating a very positive learning environment. Good values...respect, integrity, accountability, and a healthy balance of competition and fun. Highly recommended!! Mister Larson may even be Master Larson now (congrats to him if he is!)

Sensei Bennest is a high energy, caring instructor. He encourages the kids to respect themselves as well as others. He does not hesitate to step in and help the parents when there is an issue at home or school. I have been training with the Bennest Karate School for several years and there is nothing more gratifying than to watch a student reach their full potential. The instructors and students have become my second family.

Sensei Jackson has been a mentor and coach to my daughter since she started karate instruction at the age of 6. She is now 11 and a black belt. Sensei Jackson blends diligence with patience in the course of instruction. He teaches at all levels of skill and encourages diversity in his dojo. In fact, I have been a student in class at times as well as my daughter, as all ages are welcome. In addition, Sensei Jackson has spent years contributing to his community through his mentoring of at risk kids. I feel that these years of instruction have imbued my daughter with a confidence of carriage and a respect for herself and others. We decided to make a long-term commitment to karate as a discipline and sport for our daughter. It is the one constant sport we have maintained over the years...through soccer, swimming, &c. Over the years we have grown very attached to Sensei Jackson and appreciate the instruction and direction he offers to our daughter.
