Mavia's Pet Care

Introduction: Pet care is my passion. I am currently attending Tacoma Community College, taking prerequisites to enter a veterinary technician program. I have worked for three years in the animal care field, giving me plenty of experience working with dogs and cats of all personalities and energy levels. I worked for two years in a boarding kennel, providing care for pets while owners were away on vacation, and I worked for two years in a grooming shop, providing bathing, brushing and grooming to furry friends. I have worked with animals with diabetes, severe skin issues, severe behavioral issues, severe allergies, missing limbs, neurological disorders, blindness, deafness, and pregnancy -- you name it; I love them all. I've taken a course in animal massage and hope to someday go into Animal Physical Therapy. I am more than willing to take courses towards additional certifications as needed. I am happy to provide references upon request. I can provide dog walks, runs, play time and love time, baths, training, visits, potty breaks, overnight care, medication administration, household duties, house sitting, plant watering, and gardening.
