Hello… I am Juan, the expert behind Capital Insulation. My expertise in making homes more comfortable and energy efficient, is from having a construction background where my work has focused with good knowledge of industry standards and best installation practices. With experience working both with new construction insulation projects as well as insulating and renovating existing properties. Knowing what is behind and inside old walls makes a difference in knowing the optimal solution. In addition, my training includes Building Science Principles through BPI. BPI takes a whole-house approach by evaluating the air seal boundary, thermal boundary, moisture control, and internal air quality. Making old and new properties energy and climate efficient presents unique challenges. There is never a single solution to making a historic or old home comfortable.
