I gave WP Refinishing a pretty big job: refinishing or touching up a houseful of furniture that had dinged, smashed, scratched and otherwise damaged by movers. My coffee table was in the worst condition and needed a complete refinish. Wes took it to his shop, and I could not believe my eyes when he returned it--it looked brand new and untouched. Wes also restored some badly dinged small tables I thought were beyond help, and he made scratches on the rest of my furniture disappear. Wes is a down-to-earth, honest practitioner of his craft whose years of experience are evident. I plan to use WP Refinishing again to cover up a furniture assembly mistake. Regardless what kind of help your furniture needs, it's in good hands with Wes.
Excellent. Was able to handle many different needs - fixing a closet spring, a door, mounting a tv, building a bookcase, hanging a curtain, etc. Great attitude too and very efficient. Even gave us good input for where to arrange our living room furniture and hang coat racks!!
If you want any Ikea furniture built then look no further because this is the man to hire. He is very professional and a hard working man, definitely recommend him.
So glad we hired Derick to refinish our oak floors! His work is flawless and our 30 yr old floors now look brand new. We originally had a friend who "knew how to refinish floors" start the project. Needless to say it didn't work out so we needed someone who could undo everything that had been done incorrectly. Derick was able to do the estimate the same night I posted my project on Thumbtack and he started work the next day. It took less than 3 days - he works quickly, but is still very thorough. He appreciates the natural beauty of the wood and has a great eye for matching other wood tones. Our cabinets are light and furniture is dark. He chose a complimentary color to both. We've already recommended him to friends and hope to have more future projects for him.
Greg helped me a design the perfect kitchen for my 1927 Seattle house. He worked with me to include all the details I wanted (like pull out bread boards!) and design unique features like my beautiful bar with roll away island. He was great at working with the tight spaces and out-of-plumb walls. The end result is a truly hand-built, solid wood kitchen with all the small details and tiny imperfections that set it apart from mass-manufactured cabinets. If you have an old house like mine, you might consider bringing in some assistance for the install which was especially difficult due to sloping floors and ceiling, out-of-plumb walls, etc. It took a some extra time to get everything in, even and level before we could put the counters on. Check out the pics (kitchen still a WIP, but cabinets are in!) We loved working with Greg and are already planning our next project
I had such a wonderful experience with Ingrained Furniture & Cabinetry. Extremely responsive, and was able to understand the project so well to be able to effectively communicate and improvise, all of this while working with a bit of a rushed deadline. Kind and attentive customer service. Highly recommended, and I plan to refer more people to Ingrain Furniture should a fitting project or opportunity arise.
Andy has worked with us since 2006. He has remodeled bathrooms, done indoor and outdoor painting projects, installed hardwood floor and carpet, built sheds, helped us put in a circular cobblestone driveway, supervised a roof project, installed a water heater, built retaining walls, paths, a vegetable garden, done landscaping, repaired our swimming pool and spa, installed kitchen appliances, done woodworking and built furniture. He has come to our rescue many times for emergency repairs. He is great about setting up projects for us to help with labor or to do ourselves. Andy's main concern in any project is safety. He is also interested in saving the customer money whenever possible but never at the expense of quality. He is an environmentally conscious contractor. He will always come back and do warranty work if needed. His records are always thorough and specific. In an effort to do the extra little things we request, he can run behind schedule and the job may take a bit longer than first projected. The main reason we bring Andy back for project after project is his honesty and integrity. We have worked with many contractors in our 30 plus years of marriage and have never found anyone we trust this much.
Excellent service, great deck builder! Built my deck in three weeks with an Azek product and I can't be happier 10/10 everything is perfect I love it! Super professional and honest stand up guy.
I saw a platform bed frame/headboard that Cedar had made for someone and immediately ordered a queen frame. The headboard was be made from an 80 year old tree from my yard. He explained the finishes and the expected outcome which was spot-on and incredible. Great value for a one-of-a-kind piece of furniture. Cedar is also very personable and professional.
I hired Custom Fence Company to build a large and very complex fence with three different fence types. They arrived on time for the estimate. They provided very good guidence and recommendations and made it easy for me to make the decisions. Their quote form was easy to read (typed and sent by email). I hired them and they arrived on time to start the job and my fence is beautiful! Twice when they were building it, they had questions and they stopped and found out what I wanted, giving me options (one was a plant that was in the way). They were professional, fast and the finished fence is perfect! I would hire them again and I have recommended them to my family and friends! --Carl
I got my carpentry start as a shipwright apprentice at an all wood construction boatyard, and I like to bring that knowledge and those fine skills together with a knowhow and understanding of modern residential building techniques
The mindset that I have, "if this were my home what would I want", makes my approach different. I pay attention to details, am thorough, honest, courteous and clean up after myself so the home owner doesn't have to.
I love helping people with furniture related needs, whether it be moving, assembly or repair. Repair services range from simple scratch repairs to wood grain restoration and basic upholstery repair.

I do handyman type of work such as moving furniture, and small painting projects. We also do general yard repair work which includes fences, lawns, yard cleaning and other labor where a body may need a worker.
I build distinctive furniture using raw materials and timeless, sacred forms. I build gazebos of metal and wood. I do custom curvy interior plaster: arches, domes, coved ceilings, barreled walls and vaults, skylights. Anytime you want something that is not square, I can do it.
At Hacienda Custom Woodwork, we build premium, custom woodwork specific to each client's needs and request. I am originally from Michigan. My career began in high school where I assemble lots of students' stuff for their dorms together. Since then, I've been dedicated to do this on my own, where I got customers from Lowe's, Sears, and IKEA. The energy of the people makes me keep moving forward.
I work in all sorts of woodworking. I create new hobbies in woodworking like making bird homes, chairs, picture frames shelves, designer tables, etc.
I back up what I do
