We had 4 other gutter companies give bids and they all started very high, about $17-$18,500. I guess they thought we were wealthy and wouldn't care. Then they gradually brought it down about 5 separate times when I hesitated or said I would check with other companies with a lower price. They finally got down to $11,500 after 5-6 days of talks. Meanwhile Joe gave us a first bid for $11,500 and then added doing our steel building (44 x 56 ft). The whole job included our house of 4,300 sq/ft and our steel building for $10,500. Still a little too high (considering it was done in one day) but better than any other company, plus the quality of the gutter system was extremely good. Joe, our initial contact person, was fun to talk to, and yes, he talks too fast and is like an Italian salesman, but you can't help liking him.
