FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The project minimum when applicable is $149, some services are charged at a flat rate such as TV mounting, and lastly, larger or more custom projects are quoted outright. Ask if we're running any specials!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our Office Manager will send an intro message to your inquiry, and include any questions we may have. We will then either offer to book you for an appointment or a free walkthrough. Are you guaranteed to perform the job at the time of the booking? Answer: No, but please read on. We can decline a job on-site at the time of a booking. You do not owe us anything if we decline. In the end, this is typically because we've decided we aren't the right people for the project after all (usually in light of new information). This goes both ways, so if we haven't yet signed the service agreement, you may also politely decline service. Note: The majority of the time we can assess this before ever creating a booking.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A Quote from the Owner: "I have years of real world experience in my trade, and due to personal preference, I'm always learning something new. Primarily I'd consider myself a carpenter, with well rounded handyman skills and an eye for detail. I've owned my own business since I was nineteen, starting out as a fashion industry leathercrafter." Search for wears by Vilon Leather Co. if you're interested in knowing more.
