We just bought a 1940s, 1173 sq/ft home with original hardwood floors in all but two rooms. The varnish had begun to yellow, there was a clothes iron burn mark in the middle of the living room, sections the varnish had worn off, and some questionable areas throughout. Martin was able to repair the areas of concern and restored it all to its former glory. He did more for roughly the same price as we were quoted from other vendors. Our house is beginning to feel like a home. The floors have brightened the space and my breath caught when I saw them they were so beautiful. Martin was a pleasure to work with. He communicated timelines well, worked thoroughly, and cleaned as he went along (inside and out!). Our neighbors were as anxious to see our floors as we were and have since requested his card. As soon as our floors have cured (2 weeks) we will begin moving our things in and making it ours. We will certainly continue recommending him to others in need of floor refinishing.
