Couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Couve Electric. Val was responsive, personable, timely, and detail oriented when it came to his work. Val and his brother helped switched out two pendant lights and installed two chandeliers on my 20”+ ceilings. Val consistently check in with me on the height and orientation of the lights and happily adjusted the lights to where I wanted them. I could tell that customer satisfaction is his #1 goal and I would highly recommend him. Will definitely be contacting Couve Electric for my future projects. Thank you!

If I could give Couve Electric 500 stars, I absolutely would! Val's work was affordable, exceptional in quality and completed with great attentional to detail. Beyond that, his positive attitude and professionalism truly set him apart from everyone else.Val took on a failed, abandoned rewiring project with confidence and enthusiasm. He also managed to preserve my historic plaster and lath walls with minimal damage----- something other electricians said couldn't be done without tearing everything down to the studs. He and his team worked independently, communicated well--- I received texts, pictures and videos along the way. My wiring--- including some knob and tube wiring--- has been modernized. Passing all inspections. He accommodated every request I had, replacing light fixtures, installing a bathroom fan and replacing outdated heaters in all rooms. He even dealt with my upstairs neighbor---- the attic squirrel--- who has been officially evicted!Couve Electric will be my first call for any electric work I need in the future, and I recommend them without hesitation.

500 stars?! Google please honor that- yes please! That project was such a good one — lath and plaster intact, squirrel evicted, everything new Romex wire and passing inspection. Thank you for trusting me with it and for taking the time to write all that. Truly means a lot. Call me anytime!
FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Couve Electric offers upfront, transparent pricing with no hidden fees. You'll get a clear quote before any work begins, so there are no surprises on the final bill. As a licensed, owner-operated business, you work directly with me on every job — no subcontractors or middlemen marking up the cost. I'm happy to provide a free estimate, and I'll always walk you through what the work involves and why. Pricing depends on the scope of the job (repairs, installations, panel work, etc.), so reach out with your project details for an accurate quote.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When you reach out, I respond quickly — usually within a few minutes — to learn about your project. We'll talk through what you need, whether it's a repair, a new install, or panel work, and I'll ask a few questions to understand the scope. From there I provide a clear, upfront estimate so you know the cost before any work starts. Once we agree on the details, we schedule a time that works for you. Because I'm the owner and the one doing the work, you deal directly with me from that first call through job completion — no subcontractors, no handoffs. I make sure everything is done to code and that you're satisfied before I consider the job done.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've spent over a decade in the electrical trade. I began my apprenticeship at 19 and completed a full five-year program, graduating and earning my 01 journeyman electrician license. Two years later, I advanced to become a Master 01 electrician and licensed administrator/contractor in Washington State. That means I'm qualified not only to perform the full range of electrical work but also to oversee and take legal responsibility for it as a contractor. Today I run Couve Electric as a licensed, owner-operated business, bringing that training and experience directly to every job.
