"Generally, we work on two of the three for each lesson: singing, songwriting, or guitar. But, in the new year we are going to begin a study on music theory and Maddy plans on introducing me to music production software so that I can put music to the songs I have written. Maddy has a plan for every lesson, but she is completely adaptable; focusing in on what I want to hit for that lesson. To date, we have worked on five songs: Let It Go (from Frozen), Wake Me Up (by Aloe Blacc), Bleeding Love (by Leona Lewis), Fighter (by Christina Aguilera), and Dude (Looks Like a Lady) (by Aerosmith). Without Maddy I never would have imagined that I could sing a Christina Aguilera or Steven Tyler song. Maddy's ability to pull the best out of my voice is nothing short of incredible. Pair that with her belief in me and Maddy has given me the greatest gift: confidence in my artistry. I have also written north of 10 original songs. Maddy has reviewed every song and provided substantive feedback so that I communicate the message and sentiment I envisioned in the most effective way possible. Maddy and I are also working on guitar. Maddy uses materials on Dropbox to teach me basic notes and chords and completes each guitar lesson with demonstrations and material to practice. I am so grateful Maddy and I have crossed paths. It's been a life-changing experience in the best possible way. Not to mention, Maddy is an incredibly talented musician in her own right. She has a beautiful voice and is straight up vicious on the guitar. Her knowledge, ear, and artistry inspire me. I can't wait to see where Maddy takes me in this journey. For now though, I am so thankful we are on it. I can't recommend Maddy highly enough."

"Kris Savitski is an amazing teacher and listener. I was nervous about the little knowledge and experience I had with playing piano being 35 years old. As I took a music theory class in college I used to know a bit more but it had been so long and wanted to finally learn to really play. Kris was able to quickly see where I was at and took the time in our first session to see what my strengths and (many) weaknesses were lol. He was able to immediately give me a couple of drills to practice at home or anywhere to build dexterity strength. Every lesson I have been taking with Kris is enjoyable as we practice pieces recommended by him to get me up to speed and improve music theory skills but ALSO pieces that I am interested in learning. I used to think that taking piano lessons would be boring and dreadful to go to, but Kris TRULY ADAPTED TO HOW I LEARN and mostly uses genres that appeal to me! His INNOVATIVE TEACHING is what has kept me coming back and continuing to take lessons from him. Some of our sessions include him playing a melody while I improvise the harmony which allows me to really learn the type of sound(s) I feel sound amazing together in order to write my own pieces. He will also video what I'm playing via my phone so that I can remember the improvised sounds and notes, along with finger placement for me to refer to when practicing at home. Of course he provides classic learning pieces to practice which are key for me to improve my music reading skills and muscle memory for finger placements as well. I mentioned to Kris in one of my later lessons that I wanted to write AND SING songs and he has now incorporated voice lessons with our practices. I never thought I would have enough courage to sing seriously in front of someone but Kris has a way of being professional yet truly helpful in a way that allows you to be comfortable as it can be scary opening your creativity up to anyone. Therefore I now have the the courage and ease to sing in front of him and have learned so many breathing and vocal techniques since we've started incorporating vocal too! I would highly recommend Kris to anyone at any skill set level as he is a true teacher and listener with extreme talent."
